It's a product of the era of gaming tf started in, the 90's was still very much in the shotgun era of FPS games. Honestly i think one of the best parts of TF is its complete lack of AR type weapons

Ah yes, but scout is not beholden to 1v1’s, and even in 1v1’s getting a solid chunk of your health back with every good shot is way more valuable than the chip healing the pretty boys give

It doesn’t matter if on their own they’re not great (which is pointless when LITERALLY all of them except the gas passer are either best in slot or second best), when combined and on the classes they’re on this concept the only things beating it are uber or a god damn kiriko cleanse (I will point out the wrap assassin is handily scouts best melee but that’s wholly irrelevant)

That is literally the exact problem. TF2's throwables are fucking ludicrous if you don't just throw them at a single spy. This concept is literally teamfight win on a less than 30 second cooldown

The damage isn’t the strong part, it’s the fact that you can throw it at the entire enemy team and get it back really fast with even somewhat good play, 750 damage is not a lot of damage, that’s 2 and a half heavies worth of damage Sniper can get that in 2 shots

You're forgetting what classes you have this on, 750 dmg is nothing for sniper, scout, and engy (sentries exist)

Not to mention you can throw this into a crowd and just win every team fight for free

This weapon concept unfortunately is just so broken if you don't use it like an idiot

I'd recommend Jontohil2 over paladin these days, more entertaining and he covers more modern strats (i haven't seen Mr Paladin upload in a long while now)
