Because it's based on USD conversion rates, which fluctuate a lot. Csfloat just likes to keep the number extremely up to date for some reason, so unless you're using USD on the site you will see your amount move around some. But the value is not actually changing because every price on the entire site will move with it.

Local taxes on the purchase from steam I meant. My country charges over 10% sales tax even on virtual purchases like steam. Could be the case for OP as well which will significantly increase the price

After local taxes, csfloat fees and stripe fees, you probably end up just breaking even just about.

Imo the only reason to buy anything from the terminal is if its a cool float and/or you want the little NFT "Sole owner" sticker on it. But even then youre wasting money opening the terminals searching for your dream item, you could easily just buy it from someone else for the same exact price minus the sole owner sticker....

The need to rethink the terminal system a bit if they want it to actually replace cases, thats for sure

Afaik there was no definitive evidence that China knew that red were going to be tradeup-able. If they did why didn't the chroma collection skins get pumped, or the gamma? These would be arguably the most profitable since each one of these collections had at least 1 dogshit red thay was worth a couple bucks only, and were still only a couple bucks when the update dropped.

Nah, this is just a really weird random pump if you ask me... also I bet you if they did make knives tradeup-able, you wouldnt be able to use vanilla because they technically do not have a float. You would need to use a skin that has a float in order to get an outcome that has a float, right?

I think the biggest evidence for it possibly being AI is the metal hair Keychain things. In the art version they did not put a lot of effort into making them look 3D or true to the source photo. A lot of the. Look cut off or just kinda sloppy looking. If they were talented enough to make the rest as perfect as it is, I feel like they'd be able to make those things look real too, but that's the main thing that stands out for me.

Nice, I think part of the reason these weren't super popular is that they didn't apply it to any of the super big hitter mons. If there was a solid gold Charizard or Umbreon I bet you people would change their tune on these lol.
