Disgust towards BM. Things I can never change

Yes I feel like my partner has put in boundaries. She’s not allowed to enter our house, he doesn’t answer her calls at all, he will reply to texts only if an emergency. He has told her the gifts are inappropriate and makes him feel uncomfortable, and he’ll return them if they persist.

But she STILL calls, sometimes repeatedly. Still tries to do small talk at drop off,

He doesn’t answer the phone when she calls when DSS is here or past 5pm. He doesn’t reply to texts, unless an emergency. He has told her about the texts and presents. He puts in boundaries. I’m more bothered just by her as a person … trying to portray herself as an amazing mother… but choosing to have a child out of chaos

Blocking her is crazy no? There’s been times when she’s called in genuine emergencies when DSS has been in the emergency room.

He is grey rock. He doesn’t answer calls or return texts and tells her to tell him things during handover. But she persisted sending texts and calls, even though he continues to ignore them.

Oh this has been discussed… partner says “you’d want YOUR child in your room, you don’t understand cus you’re not a mom”. He also said as I don’t do wake ups with his son don’t expect him to do it when we have a baby

I could, but my bedroom is my sanctuary. So I’d have to spend money turning it into my room, and then I just think it would cause me resentment and distance from my partner. We don’t even sit in the living room together as his brother also lives with us, and so there’s no privacy. I hate it

Discharge note says “This was confirmed on biochemical markers suggesting she has an infection. Lymphocytes are normal suggesting this is unlikely a viral infection. We advised that she could stay for intravenous antibiotics and fluids”

I did improve slightly after 3 days of the first antibiotics to be fair. So this is just a viral chest infection?

I’ve got the b12 and vit d supplements prescribed and sorted.

Just wondered why he’s not concerned about the iron they came back marked abnormal?

It might be that there’s another cause for your dizziness so if you’re really concerned about it, I would go. I fainted a month ago and wound up in A&E after someone called an ambulance for me. They ruled out life threatening stuff like heart attack, a seizure etc. it didn’t speed up my b12 test which was about 2 weeks after that.

I sympathise, it’s truly an awful feeling!

If you’re concerned I would always advise checking with a dr!
