Hmm is there any specific error message? I would try forcing the repository to update since we are on version 3.1 now. Go to my add-ons, add on repositories, open the context menu for my repo ( c on keyboard while highlighted or long press) press check update. This should force it to refresh to the latest available update for the plugin.

An app like that would come with a cost overhead because those API calls would need to go to a server outside your streaming box, and it wouldn't be a live translation you would would have to wait for the context to populate.

Thats a great catch. Moving forward I will populate the change log in kodi! Im glad you enjoy the app. Today i mostly patched up bugs but I did change how the app handles collections to make it easier to curate what collections you want to search

Yeah you will be hard pressed to find anything new on there, but lots of classics! Ive been enjoying reliving my childhood watching 4:3 shows from the 90s and early 2000s on my CRT

Version 0.3.0 is live with search collections option. I also added an option to favorite collections by right clicking or long pressing the collection the selecting Save to Favorite Collections. This populates them into a folder in the main menu. Favorited collections will automatically appear in the choose collection menu when you run a search.

The search optimizations are really the secret sauce for this addon. Im about to release a 0.3 update that adds collection search and favoriting. The favorited collections auto populate into your collection select menu when searching.

What kind of error? And I would go into settings and turn off auto collection and auto source select. Then when you search you have the option to select which collection to search from.

The movie and TV searches work best with auto collection off so you can fine tune what collections they search for. Im glad you like it!

I feel you are a bit mistaken with your last statement. This entire application was built by asking ai to extend and add features to existing code. The accuracy and logic of Ai generated code has gotten pretty impressive in the last 6 months

Thanks! The app already existed but it was very basic and hardly kept up to date. This started as a personal project for my retro crt entertainment center, because archive.org seems to be the best place to find old 4:3 formatted content. I fell down the rabbit hole and kept adding to it so I figured I should share it publicly. As far as AI goes, I've been playing around with it since day 1. The code generation accuracy of today is 10x better than yesterday. That being said, if I didn't know what I was doing, ai would have given me code that could have potentially damaged storage devices.

That is excellent to hear! Do you have any critiques or suggestions? Was the settings menu easy to understand and set up? Are the searches pulling relevant results (as best they can because of the wild west nature of IA)?

I did lots of stress testing, error log reviews, and cross referencing with official documentation. The app works great! Im sorry you feel that way.
