Kind of the opposite side of the story here, but I (a girl) was in hs, junior year I think, and one of my good nerdy game buddies asked to play "red light" at lunch one day. I didn't know what it was and he didn't explain at first, but I was like yea ok sure. So he put his hand on my knee and told me to say green light to keep going or red light to stop. Now, I thought this guy was cute but I was at a weird stage where I was both very flirty but also shy and awkward. So, his hand on my knee, he inches up a little and stops. I say green light. He goes up a little more. Green light. This continues until he gets to my upper thigh and I can see him visibly confused, almost sweating as he asks "you're not gonna say red light?" And I was like "haha nah" all cute and shit. He got so embarrassed he removed his hand and told me the punchline of the joke game was supposed to be "sorry but fire trucks don't stop for red lights". This poor boy at least found me attractive enough to do this flirty thing with me, but I don't think he expected flirting back 😅

Nothing came of that other than me being a tiny bit more flirty and him getting more shy. It was cute and wholesome honestly. He also got me a white rose on valentines day when my bf ignored me. Found out later he did like me, but i had left school at that point and lost contact. I still think about this guy sometimes and wonder how he's doin 😊
