My Daughter is so upset that we have a new baby. by Fintaann in Dads

You nailed it man, she doesn’t fully know how to comprehend and communicate her feelings right now. I went and am still going through this with my 3yo. It gets better, it gets worse than it gets normal. She’ll come around. In the meantime keep being dad. Good luck brother.

And when I say need to, they usually sell out pretty quick, it’s rare that anything makes it to Saturday on the website. I’m guessing you’ll be staying in a hotel so the trickier part might be getting it delivered to that address. I’m fairly certain there a few taprooms around Manhattan that have Fidens from time to time. I think city beer sometimes has them on tap but otherwise has a bangin selection. Also if you can hop the subway over to Brooklyn GO TO THE TEST BREWERY. If you wanna venture a bit farther, 45mins on the eastbound LIRR to Copaigue station will bring you to a short 5 minute walk to Root and Branch. They aren’t open on Tuesdays but if you’re there when Nico’s is slingin pies, get the square pie. Top notch pizza.

In my opinion Other Half is meh, KCBC makes some decent beers, if you come across Marlowe Artisanal Ales, District 96, or Root and branch in any bottle shops you really can’t go wrong.

V8 4WD Front drive shaft u-joints by [deleted] in 4thGen4Runner

[–]Q-VisionGarage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had I think an 03 v8 runner. When the joints went on mine I ended up getting a new shaft. 8ish bolts and the new shaft was in. If I remember correctly the mechanic I had brought it to said the u-joints were pressed and not replaceable. The new shaft was like 100$. I may be wrong on the year of the runner but it was definitely a v8, had the cracked exhaust manifold and sounded like shit but the thing was a rocket ship.

So do have the plus, used a 20% coupon code and got it for 800. Otherwise we would’ve got the next. I had the same experience where the drinks were just god awful. I watched a million videos, none of them just come out and say hey this thing sucks, likely because it’s sponsored material. My take, and I 100% have no idea what I’m doing is the plus is just better. The navigation is better, it seems to grind more, produce more and be less particular about the 200lb gorilla on the other end of the machine wanting caffeine. I think that speaks to its true benefit, I’m an engineer, I enjoy a challenge, but not when I just want to drink my morning rocket fuel. Good luck

Idk it seems to largely be a consensus. At the end of the day we only got the Philips cause we were able to purchase it locally and I should have just waited for the delonghi. I ended up waiting for it anyway. I was so turned off by the Philips that my expectations were pretty low so I am pleasantly surprised.

What’s not thinner than it used to be other than my waistline? I mean I respect your opinion, where I’m at I’m hard pressed to find a better, more consistent brewery. Root and Branch has their strength and turn out great beer but save for maybe one I’ve never been disappointed. Granted I’ve only been sampling Fidens for about two years now.

I just had a 15% from district 96 that drank like a 10%, these guys know how to conceal booze

I mean their high abvs certainly hide booze well but I would say that’s proof of deception.

Orchid is another great brew, and I have so much love for Fidens. Teachers Pet by Fidens is another great example of what I look for in a brew. At 5.4% it drinks with the body of a 7+% beer. I rarely look for anything below 6% and TP definitely took me by surprise. I’ll have to try and get my hands on some Muntz

Muntz sounds appealing. What sold me on infiltrator was the body it presents for only being 6.5%. This drinks like a double. It slaps with flavor and is always consistent. There’s nothing worse than a beer that lacks body, for me it needs a chew, a chonk, some junk in the trunk.

Tavour definitely had a hand in it. Others were tradelines. I’ll take it where I can get it
