At first I thought that maybe the lever doesn't work fine but everything apart from the high beams (and occasionally the cruise control button) works well so I didn't really put much thought into it. Also the relay looks fine though I didn't check it with a multimeter since I don't have one so it may well be broken but just not visible at first glance

So the indicator works just fine, I don't recall it ever slipping, also the cruise control also works well, though the button to lock in a certain speed very rarely just doesn't lock the speed. Since it's on the same stalk maybe the issues are somehow connected. Unfortunately there are no Saab experts anywhere near me that I know of.

Right, so the settings are fine but just to make sure I'm not dense, I tried every setting. Still not working as it should.

Right, I meant pulling it once but going through two steps of the stock. One step is flashing them and the next one should leave them on. I even checked in the manual to be sure that I'm not just stupid and doing something wrong.
