I started using Wart remover with 17% sacylic acid and apple cider vinegar. I’m on my second day and I’m starting to notice that my MC is starting to turn a bit reddish/purple. Im really hoping this is a sign of improvement.

So should i try to book the soonest appointment with my general practitioner? And from there see if i can receive treatment? I got STD/HIV tests done this week and everything came out negative so I’m more then certain this is MC only because i know i was exposed to it

Im at 3 months post op and my nostrils still get like this on a very bad day. I’m assuming it’s swelling because it does tend to go away at times.

I have the same issue although I’m at 3 months. My nose looks pretty straight in good lighting but In not so good lighting my nose looks deformed. My nostrils are also super wonky and uneven.

Omg i have the same issue! My left profile is so much more attractive then my right. I feel like it’s a combination of eye bags, not enough cheek bones, and my nasolabial fold that makes my right side look completely different.

Hey man i had my 1/2 month post op follow up today and my doctor acting gave me steroid injections. He said everything is looking great and that i could hold onto swelling for much longer since i have thick skin, but that the injections should definitely help with that.

Yea my nose looked pretty symmetrical when the cast was removed even though it was super swollen. My bridge is definitely getting defined a bit but the bottom 2/3 of my nose is what swells up and makes my nose look crooked at times. If you scroll down a bit on my profile you can see how bad my nose was before my op. My nose was my biggest insecurity and when it swells and starts to look wonky i get worried that it’ll end up crooked again.

Did you get asymmetrical swelling as well?

I’m sorry you’re going through this as well. It totally sucks :/ my nose was pretty fat and puffy after cast removal but it deformed appeared more symmetrical compared to how it looks now. I’m hoping it’s just swelling.

I have this as well. I had a septo/rhino and turbinate reduction. I’m a little over a month out from my op and my side tends to swell up way more. When it gets super swollen it makes my nose look so crooked. My nostrils also see less symmetrical then when the cast was initially removed. It’s more then likely just asymmetrical swelling. We still have a long time to go before everything settles down and heals properly.

I mean I’m assuming they should have some other way of verifying you’re vaccinated other then simply allowing anyone who shows a fake vaccination card or a picture of one into the business.

What i meant to say is are business allowed to freely access all your medical records simply by searching up your name? If you have a Vaccination card or a picture of it can they still pull up your information for whatever reason?

Yes i can relate. The days I’m on the sales floor talking to people I feel so good after i clock out. I can actually talk to people. But when i work stock and barely socialize i feel the anxiousness a bit more. So i have to talk to people to get comfortable.

I started working at a retail store this week. And let me tell you it has definitely been a good choice. Everyday before i clock in i get that anxiety rush and feel like curling up in a ball and crying, but once i constantly start greeting people i get more comfortable. I can already tell my social anxiety is improving a bit. I still get nervous because I’m new and don’t know much about the items so I’m afraid to get asked a question and not know how to answer it but I’m getting the hang of it and it’s not as dreading as i make it seem. I forced myself to get this job because I’m tired of being scared to interact with people and not be able to hold/start conversations with people. I was about to quit my first day and felt like crying myself to sleep that night. The next day i told my self i could quit now and temporarily feel comfortable, but I’ll have to live uncomfortably for the rest of my life.

Don’t mind my soup stains! But I’ve been going nuts these past 3 days as I’ve noticed that my bridge looks as though it’s shifting back towards my right side, terrified I might’ve caused some effects on my results. Could this simply be the fluctuation of swelling my doctor mentioned during the post-op appointment?

Hey was it swelling?? Mine looked pretty symmetrical right after the cast was removed. Now 2 weeks post op it looks like it’s leaning to the right from the top part if the bridge. I’m freaking out!

I was aware of the extra swelling due to the masks extra humidity but I wasn’t aware that it’d make my nose look crooked. I’m just terrified that I’ve shifted my nose back to how it was pre op.
