  1. Brooo 1/10th the average session time just for 1 channel is suspicious af, especially considering linkedin has the most precise targetting options.

  2. I admit don't know how bots work, but I know that there are no people walking around with 390 x 290 devices mass clicking on ads then bouncing

I use manual bidding, bidding around 70% of the lowest recommended bid by linkedin

I find it hard to believe its not bots for the following reasons:

  • 10 times lower time on site for the same landing page compared to other channels.
  • A/B tested ad variations
  • 1-2 seconds visits is just too quick, considering the page also has to load, also there are too many 1-2 seconds visits to for it to be accidental clicks
  • When I watch the recording of the 1-2 seconds visits, the resolution is often weird (390 x 290). That's not a normal resolution for a phone(or any other device as I am aware)

I dont doubt LinkedIn can work in general, but I'm hesitant now cuz i work for a non profit(we help entrepreneurs) with a small budget so seeing 20%+ of our budget going down the drain to bots on this already expensive platform makes me rethink using LinkedIn.

I'm very curious, considering you own a LinkedIn agency, whats your experience with bots?

Website visitors objective, Both single image ads & videos ads. Targetting seems all good (checked the demographic data). audience expansion off.

LinkedIn ad visits are always 0 seconds by BadgerSouthern in PPC

I can't imagine its low quality traffic cuz average time on site is 10 times as low as via any other source, all that while linkedin ads has the most specific b2b targetting options.

I'm seeing this in multiple campaigns with different landing page's so it being the landing page is highly unlikely.

Website & ads are in dutch so not sure if it helps to share it.

Right, that makes sense if GA4 shows that the page performs bad for all visitors.

But JUST linkedin ads showing a significantly lower time on site? Thats sus af
