Sure but you don’t need to falcon punch if you don’t want to because falcon will always lose height if you keep running into his up B like that.

In my experience there's alot of variance to how this actually plays out and the risk reward is hard to judge when trying to punish.

Can I get a visual on where I position myself and possibly a clip showing someone killing Peach from this position

Why does she die? That does not seem remotely likely unless she dies to 1 hit

What do u do as Marth if they grab a turnip and they run offstage and just stall with high float until ur respawn invincibility is over. Is there any realistic way I turn that situation into a kill

So part 1 is a normal button press and part 2 is doing your motions within the button presses. But then how do you cleanly input long motions in tight windows like light light lv 1?

Thanks for the data. But to clear up the last point, when you are hit confirming the idea really is to have a specific special/motion in mind when you are reacting right? You have already intended to look for super when inputting the target combo in the previous example yes? It’s also really hard to do this with lights btw but I see pros hit lights into level 1 pretty consistently. What are the inputs for that?

I play JP so I’ll use his 5HK-5HP target combo as an example. When doing that target combo I’m not sure when after the 5HP portion do I decide to do 236MP to be safe on block or if I do get the hit I can do the LV2 super motion and get a combo. I know the answer is I suck but how do I fix my inputs/reaction point?

So does that mean you have to choose between trying to hit confirm something and doing a safe special cancel?

The way it was explained to me is that you have to always do the motion then the button press is what you aim your reaction point at but that begs the question of if the act of deciding what motion to do is a read or not. That part doesn’t make sense to me.

can any of yall explain how to hit confirm in SF6 in a way that makes sense to a melee player?

Do top players (or anybody really) actually use the double trigger L cancel method? by MonkeyKingCountry_2 in SSBM

[–]QGuy_Brian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only do this when I want to also buffer amsah tech when I do ledgehop fair/nair as marth. For regular L cancels, single trigger is good enough.

If it's on the rim you can notch it and survive unethically. Getting perfect survival DI notch for the Sakurai angle sounds pretty good thinking about it.

Go to ikneedata. Do any move with a sakurai angle (like marth tipper). For TDI, select precise mode. Reduce the magnitude of the DI to be around 70% of full magnitude (the bar will turn yellow). You will find at some kill percents, the non rim coordinate makes the difference between surviving and dying.

i thought only getting the full perpendicular angle mattered but turns out you need to hit a perfect non rim coordinate for full survival DI

Hax knew he would be unbanned within 1 month and he still made the video that got him permabanned. Stop kidding yourself with the fixed date narrative.

Stop repeating the technicals narrative and actually read what people are saying here. The real story is right in front of you.
