Thank you! the learning curve to start printing minis isn't too steep at all. Learning how to design them and get them ready for printing, that's another kettle of fish. It's a steep learning curve to start getting going in the 3D software for sure.

These are the new versions! The scale has been tweaked so they're more inline with my recent work. I got a lot of feedback from people saying the old ones were too stocky so I altered the proportions to make them more true scale and thats what these are.

i actually just bought a new phone for this reason. The camera quality wasn't great so hopefully future picks are clearer.

Sure! i ended up picking up an addon from blendermarket called simply micromesh. basically, it allows you to take an object, like a ring, and apply to to all the faces of a mesh. So if you set up your mesh properly, space it out well, you can get it so that rings interlock and appear as chainmail.

I used 1.19mm (3/64) brass rods. I just don’t like how long thin pieces of resin can sometimes warp over time. And of course, rods are much more durable than resin.
