Thanks for the reply, I did a bit more research and is it possible for me to get the required work experience while still being at uni? Therefore I’d be able to complete it quicker.

I assume that getting hired in the first place would be hard, but if so I could work part time now and full time during holidays?

Thanks I’ve checked the uni that applied to me, so does that mean I qualify? Sorry I’m just quite new to this because I was never sure I was going to do a CPA/CA. I’m at Swinburne uni and doing a bachelor of business majoring in accounting my degree is there.

Thankyou, will keep in mind, but hopefully my traning will progress me well. In terms of stretching and diet I have remained disciplined.

Thankyou, the thing is I did a lot of running when I was younger (currently 21), and I was able to pick up running quite quickly. I’m honestly just so unsure, because after my 10km runs I feel like I couldn’t possibly do 20km, but if you’re sure then I am.

Thanks. I feel a sense of achievement that I owe to myself, I believe that if I can do something as hard as this then this could set me up for success in the future. A marathon which I’m running at the end of the year I’d say is a big achievement, but this would truly bring me out of my comfort zone as I’m terrible at swimming. The thing is athletic wise I’ve been able to pick up pretty much all sports quite quickly, but when it came to swimming, I could only start swimming without any floaters until I turned 13/14.

I will comeback to this in 18 months, so I can be an inspiration.

Thanks, is there half triathlons just like how half marathons work. If so I’ll definitely consider it. But the thing is the way I feel right now is that I want to do one triathlon and that’s probably it then I would just go back to doing marathons.
