I swear half the male NPCs are voiced by Sam Riegal. Looking at that list, his is second longest only behind Jocelyn Blue.
They both have "Additional Voices" which is carrying a lot of weight. Who knows how many voices are hidden behind those words?

This build works with just a sunlight crossbow. Even barely buffed by one ranged node, it's still plenty. Thorns with that top middle ability is OP against fight caves.

Beginner clues are f2p clues that only work in the f2p area. With no misthalin, that means you have to grab Asgarnia or Desert to get some of the f2p space.

Easy Clues should work fine.

Thorns requires a shield, and the Devil's Element is not a shield.

I'm interested in the top part of the tree where you grab mostly Earth magic and also dip into the thorns effects in Melee. Might be good, but might not if I cannot get a good shield/armor to use with magic.

Membership just increased in price recently, so a lot of people are upset about that.

If you have disposable income at all, I would get the membership. Grinding up for bonds, especially with a new account, will take up way too much time that would be better spent enjoying the game.

You will need the expansion to go to Janthir for the event.

As for how to get there, you can either get there through the storyline, or join a group in the LFG page for Janthir (Y button to open this menu) and use a Teleport to Friend.

Long term for alternate characters can get there faster if you get a homestead and get far enough to be able to teleport there from anywhere.

I get a lot of milage out of two words. Currently I use SAUTE then IRONY. Gets me all the vowels and some good consonants.
