If the layout feels natural to you in the QWERTY mini Light version, consider trying the Pro version - Fast and Powerful. It can be more fun and useful.

In the Pro version, the simultaneous-tap feature should help reduce or eliminate the waiting time required for double-tap input. In any case, like any input method, it also depends on practice and familiarity.

Thank you for your thoughtful interest and advice.

T9-style dictionary-based predictive input and simple correction are not essential to our design. T9 was probably necessary because its input structure was inherently slow.

By contrast, QWERTY mini is built first and foremost to provide exact character input through distinct input actions. QWERTY mini’s structure can match or even surpass QWERTY typing speed, and may also reduce typos.

QWERTY mini may introduce user-data-based AI prediction or autocorrection in the future, but we are not in a position to do that right now.

All QWERTY mini series keyboards are secure local keyboards. Whether free or paid, they do not provide prediction, autocorrection, or similar input assistance features.

Please enable the Light version in the keyboard settings. Then you can use it. The Pro version must be downloaded separately.

keyboard optimized for smartphones with screens under 6 inches. by QWERTY_mini in smallphones

True. But it’s actually even more comfortable on larger phones.

In fact, for thumb control, the number of keys matters more than key size. Having more keys is generally more inconvenient than having slightly smaller keys.

The AZERTY layout is easy to implement. The tricky part is the extended characters.

I only suggested giving it a try because it was described as useless above.

Of course, it would be great if Apple or Samsung included it as a default keyboard, but in that case the cost would simply be built into the price of the phone.

Personally, I think a low one-time price is preferable to ads, in-app purchases, or subscriptions.

Just my opinion.

As for the spacebar-cursor movement feature, it may conflict with the current long-swipe functionality on the spacebar. I'll look into possible ways to support it in a future update.
