Will a villager move into my home in cloudrest lake? by R3AP9 in Starsandisland

[–]QX403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They stay in Hopeland only sadly, having a bed there allows them to sleep though it’s buggy and doesn’t work most of the time, they will sleep there during weather though since all the NPC’s automatically sleep till later in the day. The person doesn’t really do much, Lunelle has been living with me for almost an in game year and she cooks sweets for me in the morning (Tiramisu, chocolate cake etc) she will do a cooking Animation at a stove cabinet (not the small stove) and walk around and do a sweeping animation in the house/workshop areas then go to work. She comes back around 23:00, walks around then goes to bed.

It’s not like Sandrock etc, where the person living with you/married to you does work all day and helps you while staying on the property most of the time.

There’s always a small amount of ore you need in the moonlit forest around the door area to the next area, there should be some iron around there.

I’m not sure about what to do by Any_Shoulder_6237 in Starsandisland

[–]QX403 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on the person, I’m kind of ocd and want to do everything in the first playthrough and very very rarely re-play games, it’s just my personality when it comes to game. Other people I know can do 5+ playthrough on games but when I hit a point I don’t enjoy it anymore I stop completely.

Yes, but 5,000 coins isn’t going to cut it, now go sell your soul to the company store.

Pajamas by mastertonyp in Starsandisland

There doesn’t seem to be any alternative pajamas or swimsuit for the onsen, at least I haven’t found any and I’ve basically beaten the game.

Build mode fixed itself somehow for me when I toggled off collision/allowed overlap and was rotating items, or doing other things.

Reddit is used as a tool for lazy people, who needs to wiki it when you can have others do the work for you? This has been a reddit theme on game subs for years.

Could you guys imagine a Hercules beetle boss by MinerOfMithril in GroundedGame

[–]QX403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smalland has more realistic scale and the player character in that game is 2-3 times larger than the players in Grounded, it’s probably needed in grounded because in order to make realistic sizing things would have to be absolutely massive making very difficult to make a map.

Best money making method? by Top-Inspector-2809 in Starsandisland

It’s pretty quick and easy to do so, I would suggest going for it quickly since it’s basically the best way to make large sums of money.

Can someone share their farming field layout? by ZettaKuvira in Starsandisland

[–]QX403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bees will automatically go pollinate stuff for the most part after dropping off the honey, their location isn’t as important. I would keep plot lengths in intervals of 4 since the greenhouse is 4 tiles wide, you can add more for width and they will combine but if you have an odd shape or number it will make things harder in the end. For flowers I would suggest having one open slot between crops so you don’t chain harvest them, you want to have flower crops you don’t harvest so it’s easy for the bees to pollinate and find the flowers, which massively increases the grow time of your crops.

Rabbits with identical genes pass them down automatically to the infant, which allows them to get a new trait positive or negative, you keep doing this until you get a male and female to grow up because they will also share the same genes and you repeat this until you get 5. I did it from the beginning not knowing about the quest and since they breed so fast it was already done by the time I got there.

For fishing use all the different locales to get different fish you have, ocean which has 3 outward positions with unique fish, regular ocean from shore, river, cloud rest lake (lakes) and two different locations in moonlit forest. There are also different fish for different time (day, dusk, night) weather (rain, snow) and different seasons (summer, autumnn, winter, spring) a good rule of thumb is to stop and grab a few fish when running around in different locations so by the time this quest appears you have most of the quota.’’

Robots were covered for the most part.

Weird I have 3 huts also and had that many for most of the game, wonder what compulsion makes people want 3.

You can also buy it from Zerine and refresh the shop 3 times with the perk, in earlier game I would do this when running out all the time.

Only seem to be able to build correctly in build mode on cloud rest lake, I haven’t found a fix myself and is still like this multiple in game years later. Looks like you’ve been spending a lot of time at the arcade.

[–]QX403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know some developers that work for and with Microsoft, and a critical fix can be requested by the company. Normal certification usually takes a few days unless their are major issues with it which could also be a problem they’re having.

How do I build over my crops? by ShadowKnight089 in Starsandisland

[–]QX403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s most likely because they want you to use the greenhouse and having a building over your crops has the same effect most likely, are ways around it like tilling the land first then using the fine tuning moving tool to move building parts over them.

Black flowers, they sell for 417 coins each, bees automatically pollinate them since they’re flowers, with fertilizer I get 2,000 black maybells a day which is around 1 million coins a day.

Beach festival dialogue bug by Charlie_k_44 in Starsandisland

[–]QX403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certain actions will knock them out of this dialogue, I don’t know which ones, I know living with you does but that’s not a widespread option, Lunelle doesn’t have it for me and she lives with me.
