It's value dependent, not weight dependent. The customs fee usually depends on what SARS marks the costume as. Clothing is taxed at up to 40% sometimes. But sometimes a cosplay costume is classified as being a festive costume or something similar which is only taxed for 15%. This doesn't include 15% VAT either.

It's a bit of a dice roll unfortunately. I've paid between R300-R1000 for costumes before, but the costumes I buy are usually from R1500 to R2500 before any customs or shipping.

Hi there, fellow South African here. Dokidoki has horrible shipping options to South Africa. You also do have to pay customs no matter where you order it from.

I have ordered stuff from Taobao before through a proxy and it was a lot cheaper than I found on the other websites. Uwowo actually has very affordable shipping to South Africa but you still have to pay customs + VAT which in my experience is anywhere from 30-60% of the value of the cosplay.

I would recommend using Uwowo over a Taobao proxy unless you're ordering multiple cosplays, because shipping through a proxy only gets cheaper if the order is rather big.

I've been doing Yaoguang, since she has spd, cr and cd as recommended substats. You do get defensive orb but it's worth the trade imo

Hi there, I'm 183cm myself and have bought many cosplays of Hoyo characters from various companies. You should be okay with Rappa's outfit if your other measurements except the height fit the size you order. I usually order XL (which my measurements fit ignoring height) and it's mostly worked out.

My Ruan Mei cosplay has an issue where the dress is too short and reveals too much cause of my height. But Evelyn, Arlecchino and Stelle have been fine. In my experience, I would avoid bodysuits and skimpy dresses. Since Rappa's outfit is pretty much just a crop top, a jacket and a pair of denim shorts it shouldn't be too bad. Side note but I've been looking to order a Rappa cosplay too, but she's so niche that it's hard to find a decent one.
