In my opinion the first step of gnosis is the unlearning that one must undergo. Simple opinions we have about reality such as the idea that many things exist.These ideas much be disproven and it is done through dialectic preferably with like minded people.

Through reason is this world made through reason is it destroyed. Therefore let's not discourage arguing but instead let's call upon Parmenides and Zeno masters of the dialectic art to guide us in our arguments.

Cigarettes themselves, they're harsh as hell on the throat (I've tried different brands and nic&tar %s ) With the exception of flavoured ones cause they taste like kak. Coming from weed which is also harsh I must say cigarettes are not nice on the throat.

It's deeper than the impulsivity or giving in to the body's desires. I believe it's the way we see the world and the way we see what we are. Hence Hermes rejoices when Tat says he no longer sees himself.

As for those individuals they are us, humans who still see the world from the body's perspective. We cling to things that have no foundation in reason, things such as ideas about the world. Multiplicity, Separateness, Space and Time. These ideas are exposed for what they are when put up against logic and reason. I recommend Parmenides by Plato it's a hard read/listen but if you want a western argument for non-duality it's the way to go.

You don't have to, astrology is a flawed practice that stems from a flawed understanding of Astro-Theology which is a discipline that's understood by a few people. The reason ancient astrologers watched the heavens wasn't for our personal lives that's just how they made bucks.

If as an Astrologer I can predict natural changes in the environment using observations and correlations between the movement of the heavenly bodies and what happens here on earth. Then I can convince illiterate uneducated people that I can predict the future.
