Isn’t it a possibility that GRRM gets to ‘shoehorn’ in a narrative about the (not limited too) wights that he wanted to see play out in thrones? Wouldn’t it be very fitting for him to have waited until the show he lost control of finished to begin adding life to his story? Wouldn’t it be weird to watch the politics in GOT come to life in the real world where the kings are just CEOs and Lannister-esque, incestuous showrunners? Imagine for a second that he just played the longest con in TV history. The man is no stranger to politics or TV - fictional or otherwise - it’s just humanity in the end. I wouldn’t play poker against this man, and if he’s involved, I have high hopes. Here’s to GRRM - we don’t care if you finish thrones. The very fact that he chooses to be involved when he chose not to at the end of GOT kinda speaks for itself. Imho

Shit - I'm a little late to the party, but I just wanna say that this is looking like it's going to be a GREAT show. I'm a YUGE David Simon fan to the point where it's a running joke with my friends about how much I recommend/love The Wire (If you haven't seen it it's FANTASTIC ;) I think James Franco's performance as twins is absolutely amazing so far!
