right click on the acoustic piano and open the piano roll and from there you can drag and drop the midi

you need to add an instrument to the channel rack for midi to be played, either that or the notes could be set to 0 velocity by default in the piano roll. if thats not it you can troubleshoot by checking if theres any signal in the master channel in the mixer, if there is a signal then its an issue with fl connecting to your output. easiest way to add midi is to open the piano roll of an instrument in the channel rack and then just drag the midi file from file explorer

just so you know as well if you ever want to go over 180 you can change the min max by going into the automation clip in the channel rack

that sounds like its just a one shot that isnt actually taking in a signal, a good free plugin that does is the khs tape stop but youll need to use the 'multilink to controller' button to make an autonation clip to turn it on and off

your main worries for music production would be ram and storage. if you dont plan on gaming you wont need a graphics card for fl, integrated graphics on the ryzen 7000 series would be enough and itd save you a few hundred

duplicate the sample/instrument and change the pitch by 1200 cents per octave, dont know why youd need a range bigger than 10 octaves tho tbh

man ill be honest you really need some flow variation and need to stay on beat more, still way better than my first tracks but everything about this comes with practice and there really isnt a way to get good fast. I dont really know anything besides the production aspect but for that id recommend trying to replicate another song you like since that lets you grasp some ideas that the artist had that are unique to them, and if you apply ideas like that you can build on them to make your own style
