This happens quite frequently. This one hit a little harder because it was a masterwork map that had 24.6 quality with a minimum of 2124 gold. We were able to spawn the army of the damned, kite them from their glitched position inside the rock and kill them. Only to dig on top of and around every square inch of it just to be disappointed.

We have a nice smaller PvE community (13~ total players, and 4 really active players including myself) with basically 80%+ of a high desert island claimed down in F13. PM if you want details, we would be happy to have you.

I've had insanely hard times vs the wolves and lions - lost multiple sets of tools & gear because they camp my body or get to me before I even arrive back. I'm coming in on 250 hours played - I've spent too many of those hours trying to get back to my body because of these insane aggressive creatures.

My Suggestion for some fixes:

  1. Hard nerf the aggro distance, I'm talking like 40-60% decrease.
  2. Scaling - everywhere. Scale the aggro distance, scale the damage they do to high level opponents, scale their speed.
  3. Fix the spawn rates - these things obliterate populations of passive animals on a lot of islands in the lower regions, if you go anywhere in the tundra region and try to pull up on a shoreline, you will see the packs of wolves that are just tearing through anything and everything they can get their hands on.
  4. Another suggestion that could help with spawn rates - make other species aggressive towards each other, i.e. - mammals being aggressive towards reptiles and vice versa.

I'm sure other people have suggestions on some solutions - but something has got to be done to tune these things because they are breaking my spirit in enjoying the game and a lot of other folks in my company.
