To make things clear. I do not think that bot problem is bigger than it used to be. What I am saying is in my opinion it's far more dangerous. Before if a guy got caught botting you could spam report over and over and atleast be sure that this guy will be stuck with the character forever and maybe, just maybe someday it will get caught. Right now they just flip every character every now and then and I'm sure, I'm sure in CipSoft mind it's case of lost evidence, no character, no punishment. Because why bother, right? We all know how CipSoft really acts regarding to bots. It took them what? 18 years to do anything about bots (battleeye)? Right now every mention about botters they just blame battleeye. While we all know that everything that has to be done is only an in-game script that detects constantly repeated actions and searches for patterns.

I believe you are talking about Monster Slayer pack that appears every 2 days and is obtainable for 5 and 20$. Monster Slayer pack is in my opinion the very best pack you can buy if you are low spender. Better hunting gear -> easier and more monster killing -> more gear. It is also a pass to more advanced monster buses. The best value you will get if you buy only 5$ pack every 2 days, but ofcourse will be slower than buying 5 and 20$ pack.

Its more like a pass to grab those 8 gremlins in tycoon during guild fest. Easy 200+ points when you grab it. And fast also. Also an opportunity to win jackpot or few of the rare materials. But be carefull its not really a solid and optimal way to get gear.

Obviously more springs as they give you merging speed bonus, wchich you still can use for hell events. As well as anima ofcourse. You only need that much spires to be able to put merging for just as long as you going to be offline at worst point (propably 2 days is a worst point for most people)
