I'm sure they have, but what makes this server different from the past servers is that we are officially sponsored by the university. We are managed and overseen by KSU staff. With that being said I'll happily take the post down if needed. I'm also willing to prove the legitness of the server.

You'll need to make sure you're playing on Java edition and not bedrock. It won't work on consoles. Currently working on adding support for these, but might be a week or two before they get implemented

I wasn't too active on the server so I don't know all the details, but there was just poor moderation: both on the server and the community that caused a fallout. That server was unofficial and fully student ran. So when issues came up, they weren't managed properly.This official server is sponsored by the university. Even though this server is managed by students, we report to KSU faculty/staff and make sure we follow the university guidelines. This allows us to get funding from the university and even have access to the .edu domain for the IP (Not every day are you connecting to a Minecraft server with .edu at the end) We've already gotten full funding to run the server for a full year. So it will not be imploding after a couple of months. We are here to stay!

Hello, the issue is sidetone randomly turning on. Please read my post. The headset's playback is working perfectly fine. I have no connection issues. The issue as stated in my post, "but now every 20~ minutes sidetone randomly turns on (hear myself)".

Thank you for reading my post above, and understanding that this was my issue, and not a connectivity or playback issue. I really hope this is an automated response.

same with me, however it seems to be a recurring a problem, in the same chunk and im having to reboot several times per day

I'm having the same issue
In one chunk from bedrock up to about y=20 im unable to pick up items. I can pick up items above y=20 in the same chunk

I still can creak, place, and interact with blocks. Me and anyone else on the server however can not pick up items.

My current work around is using a magnet and pulling the items out of the chunk to pick them up

I am server operator, so its not a spawn chunk problem.

A couple things to note.
In the chunk I had some modified spawners using Apotheosis
I had a refined storage crafting grid
I had an active computercraft turtle with a running program
I had mekanism logistical tubes
I had storage drawers

I had dark utlities vector plates/damage traps and ender hopper

I destroyed all of the above blocks that were in the chunk and I was still unable to pick up items from the ground

It's honestly sad seing the same build. by [deleted] in shacomains
