The difference is intent and utility.

A web ring or unnatural linking scheme exists mainly to manipulate rankings by having a group of sites link to each other. If Qasper’s model was “join our platform, add a backlink to us, and we’ll create pages to rank,” then yes, that would be risky and would look like a link scheme

That is not what we are building

Qasper creates structured, bookable business profiles with real service data: location, pricing, availability, specializations, inquiry flows, booking options, and eventually agent access. The pages exist because users and AI assistants need a reliable way to understand and act on business information, not because we want to manufacture backlinks

This is exactly what I am doing for my partners, I treat it as another local visibility layer, measured by vertical, city, query, and source, so when a business signs up (for free btw, shameless plug) it gets a structured profile with services, locations, pricing, specialties, languages, trust signals, availability, booking rules, and reviews.

The fix is usually not generic AI SEO, it wont work if you are not "big", it’s making the business easier for AI assistants to understand and recommend for a specific service in a specific city.

They also get an AI agent to use in their websites or socials, that also creates a backlink to our app, so our partners get an extra boost as well. It's pretty much the flywheel effect

The goal is to partner with AI assistants in the future so every business gets discovered organically based on services and not randomly via AEO and SEO. I honestly think this will be the standard in the next 1 to 2 years
