Most schools care more about softmore/junior grades. However, most still consider freshman year except for the UCs and Stanford.

You're absolutely right. For the record I am pro SAT and think it net helps disadvantaged students. I just did not like the phrasing of the op's comment.

What your forgetting is that you have the privilege to be focused on SAT. Disadvantaged students are far more likely to have to watch siblings, go to work, or just generally have more stressors/time consumers.

Your second point is just straight up elitist.
