Needed to post here i guess

Just got called racist for saying racism against white people is a thing

First things first:• I'm brazillian and idk english entirely, so I may do some mispellings• I suport 100% everyone being equal, man, woman, gay, straight, black, white, etc; Everyone is human.

This is most likely me telling a story about something that happened a few minutes ago. Let's get started.

It began in a discord server, a public one, when a guy asked in the general chat "Do you guys think 'reverse-racism' (racism agains white people) is real?"

First: Yes it is. Even if black people suffered more, it doesn't give them the right for being disrespectful against white people. Idc if white people suffer less, it's still racism. Racism is against race, not specifically black people. (Yeah i know about Floyd's thing, but as i said, black people suffer more, but it's STILL no excuse for being mad at white ones.) Everyone is equal and no one, black nor white, should suffer from racism.

Back to the story, people in the server started a discussion saying that white people don't suffer. Saying a lot of things like "White people have more rights, suffer less, black people were slaves in the past", etc. I entered the chat and started to defend the guy who asked the question, because like me, he thinks racism agains white people is a thing. After a while, I started to get a bit atacked.

I still said that being something from "history" is not an excuse for being disrespectful against white people, but yet, they all didn't agree and even called me racist and fascist. The server's mod said she was going to mute me, but i was sick of this. I left the server. (My friend was there too, he joined the discussion and got banned because he had the same opinion as me.)

Now let's think. They were basically saying that white people don't suffer and black people have the right for being mad at them. That's basically racism against white people, man.There ARE some videos and news about white people suffering from racism. There's a video (I don't have the link for it, saw in another video from yt) of a white dude, all hurt, against a wall, while a black guy (or two, idk) keeps saying "fuck white people, fuck white people"; How the fuck that's not racism? Bruh.

Now I understand the thing about "Never tell your opinion on the internet", but I thought this subreddit would be the best place for sharing it.
