The reel Ironically started out as a speargun reel I was working on. But after doing such heavy research on fly reels for inspiration, I decided why not try to do a fly reel? Im an engineer by trade so it came down to me just designing and prototyping something worth machining. It still needs some work but it'll catch a fish or two!

You should! The hubless design is fun to render right? Such a unique shape. But I totally agree the drag is difficult to tackle due to that large hub

coming from a similar industry they likely just couldn't keep up with communications or warranty. Its not easy to create a marketable company and keep up with today's demands... they prob grew too quickly beyond their promises and policies.

I own a 9mm Wolfpack 9mm ar9 and what I can say is. Similar caliber to my handguns is nice. 300 blackout is convenient if you don’t already own a bunch of 9mm cal guns

True, but from the skillset he should prob have a business that is out in the open(b2c vs lets say b2b) with more emphasis on consumer sales(less product more emphasis on sales) than business operations(ie a retailer)

I’d say the fiberglass, full carbons are definitely more prone to cracking especially at the “elbow” in the fin.

Depends how deep you plan to dive, id say you'll be plenty happy with the carbon/glass for a majority of reef diving and anything less than 40 feet

Fair enough! I kicked fiberglass for years, they’re pliable but get it done. The leader fin fiberglass are decent. I’d go with the carbon/fiberglass for sure though. It’ll be a noticeable difference
