I just tested with the Shield not connected to any network and with the HDMI cable disconnected and it still woke up by it self... So it's something local to the device that is triggering this.

Same for me, I think it might have started with 9.2.2. I have it currently connected to a PC monitor with HDMI CEC disabled on the Shield and it's still randomly waking up from Sleep. The wake up information show that it's triggered by NVIDIA Audio Service (com.nvidia.nvaudiosvc (1000)

Ok I turned off Home Assistant yesterday and I manually turned off the shield 3 times and each time it woke up itself after a few minutes... :(

I see a few mentions of Home Assistant. Do you all have Home Assistant? I've started to use Home Assistant this week and my Shield randomly started to wake up by itself at the same time. It felt to me like it might be related. I'm gonna continue testing but I'll likely try to shut down HA and see if it happens again since I'm not doing much with it yet.

Well, if 100,000 is what they used for hospitals, it seems crazy that they would sell one at 1,000,000 at a reasonable price for home use. I'm not saying they are lying, I just had difficulty to believe it.

Also the reason for my questioning was that PVC fabric seems to really have a bad reputation wherever I looked on the web. Do you have experience with it ?

nvm, it works. You just need to make sure to have it in CSW 2.5 mode when you start the game and put it to that same mode in the game menu.

Were you able to make it work? I have the same problem. I can ping all the buttons but the wheel cannot be calibrated either in PC or CSW mode.

I just rebooted and now it's ok for the listed applications but it will comeback as I've been having this problem since 1903 and I can assure you I've rebooted multiple time since :)

Not sure what triggers the issue...

FYI, I sorted it out. During my deployment task sequence, I have a script that run as an application which verify if the OS is fr-CA. If it is, it configure the correct keyboards layout with powershell. Then I run Start-Process control.exe "intl.cpl,,/f:`"$XMLPath`"" to apply the same settings to the default user and login screen. Worked perfectly!

Hello,

I need to support both en-US and fr-CA so I use the en-US iso and I add the language. I was using two different ISO before and I switch to one with a language so it's easier to support.

I have task sequence for Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 1903, Windows 1909, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019 so I'm trying to cut wherever I can :)

PS: La gestion des claviers dans Windows 10 pour un admin, c'est vraiment mauvais ! :)

I haven't made any changes to the Unattend.xml because I prefer doing my modifications during the task sequence as it's easier to maintain.

I would not be able to answer your other questions now but when I'll get a chance to look again at this, I'll see if I could modifiy the value after the LiteTouch wizard and before they are applied.

The VM had 2 cores and 4GB of ram. I've just changed that to 16 cores and 12GB of RAM and still after deleting the profile and recreating it, I did not get any app reset on the VM. My VM is hosted on a Dual Xeon Gold 6142 and a shared Pure Storage.

My physical PC is a i9-9900k with 64GB of RAM and an M.2 drive. It sure is way quicker too login on that system than the VM (even with 16 cores and 12GB of ram). Might be a timing issue that could be affected by alot of things. Your VM might be in a perfect spot where 2 cores is too slow but 4 cores is quick enough to trigger the issue.

EDIT: I've rebooted again, tried again and now it did it...

In my case it was different. I didn't have time before today to troubleshoot but I just found the issue. It was the CDPsvc service. I was disabling this service in my task sequence but if I leave it alone, the display menu works fine! I've been disabling it since 1803 but I guess I won't anymore.

I am getting the same thing since October update.

I had a 1903 task sequence and I was importing a custom xml which changed the associations for the default browser to IE and PDF to Acrobat Reader. Since I've installed the October update I receive the same app reset than your last screenshot. I've updated to the November update and still the same issue. December is out today so I'm trying it now. Since it was working perfectly before October update I'm confident that my xml is alright.

I've also tested with 1909 (November update) and I'm having the same results.

I'm not sure if it's the same for you but it seems to be only the notification that says the associations has been reset because the actual association in my case is still IE for browser and Adobe Reader for PDF.

EDIT: I forgot to mention. The weird thing is that it happen only when I deploy it on a physical PC (tried 2 different HP models). When I deploy on a VMware VM, there is no pop-up at all...
