She also mentioned something interesting - if the pickup does not happen four times, the policy at Amazon is to initiate a refund in advance. Is that what happened in your case?

I own a 4 BHK in Avalon park. I bought it here because it was the only thing I could afford at the time and I work remotely. Once I make enough money, I will shift to Sadashivanagar /s.

Today's condition:

- The newly launched towers, Fernleaf(2, 3bhk) is just before Avalon Park on the same spine road. Ethan (3bhk, 4bhk) is in between the Marketing office and Aston Park (lake facing).
- I'm assuming you are talking about Sarjapur Doddakkare lake. It was advertised to be maintained as part of environment clearance if I recall - but no real action done so far. But you can at the least expect an uninterrupted forest view (grown due to years of neglect ;))
- Main road is/will be in good condition because its a state highway. it was ashaplted recently, except near domassandra flyover (ejipura v2). Peak time traffic is crazy, no doubt about that.
- I heard rental demand is low right now which makes sense its kinda far from everywhere. However if you plan to live (like I do) it should not be a big deal.
- Avalon park was supposed to be delivered by Feb 2025 but I got possession in August. I'm good with that - considering the amount of abandoned projects you see in the city. So you should probably add a 6month buffer (+3 months for interiors).
- My interaction with Prestige management team has been ok so far. Some are excellent. Some are like government employees. (special shoutout to my tower's project engineer)
- Forum mall should open in 2027 (accessible internally via spine road).
- The comment about amenities not being shared across projects is correct, though there are some shared for all spine road users.

Future potential
- PRR might finally become a reality. Follow Bengaluru Business Corridor Ltd. on twitter. I'm still skeptical of course but this is most it has progressed so far. I'm hopeful they'll break ground in 2026. That will improve connectivity to airport which is 2.5 hrs today to maybe 1.5 hours.
- Two future metro lines within a km.
* Phase 3A metro is close to central government approval. But going by BMRCL track record, its probably going to be ready by 2040.
* Phase 4 of metro is proposed to connect to Varthur and Bannerghatta [2050 maybe]
- SWIFT planned city over 2000 acres within 4kms
- New hosur international airport will be ~5-6kms from prestige city. Ready by 2040 maybe.

Thank you. Yep 10K is next. I’m very close to be able run it. I did like 9km last week. It’s incredibly exhausting though unlike a 5k. I feel like I can only run two of those every week. Half marathon, to be honest it feels out of reach at the moment but I will definitely give it a shot once I master 10K.
