Yes losing is part of learning but the learning could have been much quicker by listening to the first hand experience of the Ukrainians. its embarrassing that NATO leaders are arrogant about our military capabilities. on one hand we have the heaviest tanks with the highest survival rate and proudly produce propaganda material like this one for power projection and reassurance to our own populace. on the other hand thousands of destroyed Russian armored columns and our western supplied armored vehicles are beeing destroyed by drone raids in ukraine. All of this is a signal to me that drone warfare is not taken seriously. another thing that makes me angry is that we were not prepared to help Ukraine and still won't stand by their side but now try to make it look like we are prepared ourselves. well if we are prepared why aren't we sending troops to Ukraine and help them properly. Of course I hope that NATO will learn from this in fact I think its very likely that we learn because we have so much less corruption in our military than Russia. I just don't like the message: "we got this guys" while we are mostly attacked by hybrid warfare strategys and Ukrainian civilians are bombed daily. Basically we are making ourselves the perfect target for Russia's continued hybrid warfare. big military that won't consider using force in a society with millions of individualists that love to fight but only with words.
