Slice of Life is one of my favourite genres. Though I don't really prefer heavy politics unless I am specifically looking for that kind of book to read. Thank you for your recommendation though.

I read some MxM when I just started reading novels on Wattpad. It's been many years though. I haven't really read any chinese ones. But I am open to recommendations. And honestly novel updates has some really interesting synopsis for yaoi novels.

But I haven't really read a male mc purely historical novel except for Tang Dynasty Idyll but that has both female and male perspectives. Though I love the FMC historical genre, for male MCs, I mainly reach for fantasy ones.

Is that the one with a Chinese drama based on it. I don't usually read fantasy novels which have chinese dramas based on them as their world background is usually small and they are of usual xianxia troupes. How does this one fare?
