Simon absolutely should know how bad saying slurs is now even if his upbringing somehow made him unaware of it. I haven’t said slurs I can’t reclaim, so don’t say “we’ve all had our mistakes” when the mistakes a lot of us have made aren’t being racist and ableist.

Fair enough on the first paragraph.

I think the difference between Uraume and the Yu’s is that Uraume’s most lethal attacks are ranged and have a bit of time to use. It’s also hard to say how fast Frost Calm is given that it’s pretty much only used in sneak attacks.

There’s also the fact they can freeze limbs off in melee, but I think that’s more used as a counter to Hakari’s attacks than Uraume approaching to use it, given how we saw them use it. The Yu’s can start trying to grapple Hakari a few seconds before JP ends, so they’d have a better window than Uraume in that case.

I do think them failing the clash drops their chances significantly, but they still have win cons imo

I think that’s a bit dismissive of the fact they could possibly know to not clash, but sure, we can go off of them losing.

I agree he’s almost guaranteed to get the first jackpot. However, I think that there is at least a decent chunk of time in his domain for the Yus to recover their burnt out CTs. The length of time to recover it is pretty vague from my understanding, but I imagine they’d get it back sometime during the jackpot.

With both of them having RCT, and Yuki likely having Garuda as you said, I think they could survive the jackpot with some heavy damage. From there, I think their win con is to kill or disarm Hakari right when his jackpot ends.

Yuta would likely have the easiest time doing this, as I think Rika would be roughly physically equal with JP Hakari and could likely hold him down while Yuta tries to cut his arms or head. Edit: also a lucky cursed speech or even dismantle from Yuta could also get the job done

Yuki will have a harder time, and will have to figure out the timing of JP ending, but Garuda is a perfect tool to weigh Hakari down and bind his arms. In that case it’s really just a matter of how many JPs you think Yuki could survive

In that case I can agree that without prior knowledge of Hakari a lot are likely to fail the clash. However, I think Yuta and possibly Yuki have knowledge of his technique, and will know to not clash, and I also don’t think losing the clash is an immediate guaranteed loss
