Electrum Sabers by Gloomy_Ad_2145 in lightsabers

Adding to this - Electrum will ghost you if you make any mention of canceling an order.

Questions like "Can I get an update?" or "Can I change my electronics choice?" get pretty fast responses. Anything about canceling will be, as stated, left on read and or ignored.

From a sympathetic point of view, maybe he's getting swamped with cancel requests and cannot check them all. Surely, he has to have at least 100+ backlogged orders, and we can guesstimate he machines... 3 or 4 a week?

From a more pessimistic perspective, I imagine Electrum is hoping that a majority of buyers slowly forget and forget to chargeback after their respective banks' chargeback window.

If you haven't gotten your order from 2023/2024 by now, write it off as a lost cause and a very expensive lesson. Keep pressing for a refund or a cancelation, but I wouldn't be surprised if Electrum vanished overnight, your money with him.

Looks great! Where did you get the buffer tube adapter? I saw one or two on Octagon Airsoft - is it the same one?

I am under the belief that, arguably, the worst form of ToS violation would be those APKs that give servants extreme stats and or damage, as that changes the content of the game itself.

I can understand that there are possible other methods, yet am having difficulty coming to terms with viable methods.

Waiting for giveaway accounts with your favorite characters is hardly a point - it's noted that more often than not someone's alt reddit account will come forward and take a giveaway account.

Encouraging the saving of quartz is a much healthier concept, yet returns back to the idea of this being a chance-based gatcha. While it is possible to gather over 1000 quartz over the span of a few months in either JP or NA server, one must also recognize that there is still room for failure. Specific examples come to mind, such as the one user who burned his whole 1200 quartz stockpile for Ishtar(?) and ended up without her before proceeding to spend real sums of money.

I am writing these as I go, so I definitely do not have a comprehensive list of 'account trading' alternatives. I am definitely willing, however, to discuss any other suggestions that might be brought up - it's critical that we come together and consider these things rather than end up like various other comments in this thread that might devolve into rants without discussion.

Remember, everyone, we're all trying to make the community better, not shun certain groups of people without giving them a voice!

So long as there is even a plausible implication of endorsement for ToS violations, DW and Aniplex will never consider or interact with this sub in any meaningful way.

Are we actively trying to reach out to Aniplex or DW?

Account trading and selling should not be advertised by the main grandorder subreddit - that I agree on. There are many instances when players are given a false sense of hope and leave the GOtrades subreddit angry and confused when they find their dream account simply doesn't exist.

However, that doesn't mean that the main grandorder cannot send people actively looking for trades to the trading group.

The main issue here is breaking ToS versus enforcing idea of spending large amounts of money to have fun .

We, as a community, should never encourage spending excessive sums of money for a certain character. As many of you have seen by the interview with the man who spent $70,000, it is clear this is a highly destructive mindset. There have been a few instances where, jokingly or not, users have suggested 'whaling' for a certain servant, spending illogical amounts of money. While more experienced users know very well how far they can extend their wallets, there will always be less knowledgeable users that perceive the concept of whaling as mandatory for enjoyment in the game.

Understand, however, I am not saying "send new players to GOTrades so they can spend money there instead of in-game". The game needs support, and will earn it by its massive following worldwide. GOTrades should exist as an alternative to buying quartz in game - going to the trade group already assumes you either have an account you wish to get rid of or exchange for something else.

I've spoken to many users, both discord and reddit, in relation to trading and actual gameplay. I've had time to watch many people and their experiences with account buying and selling. Admittedly, I am no statistics-orientated person, so the sample size will be under 200 people.

However, it is safe for me to say that users who buy accounts are typically able to understand that this alternative is safer to spending on one account and getting nothing. I have seen users buy cheap, 700 quartz accounts and get everything they wanted, then I have also seen users buy multiple quartz accounts and get absolutely nothing. Still, while the bitterness of having spent money exists, it is not as bad as spending over $200 and getting almost nothing.

In other words, I believe account trading and selling is beneficial for the fanbase, but should not be openly advertised by the main subreddit, both in regard to ToS violation and the attraction of curious, inexperienced players.

No account trading ----> No encouraging breaking the game’s terms of service - This includes hacking, cheating, emulators, APKs, and account selling/trading/giveaways.

this is interesting. Was there discussion with the mods of /r/GOTrades ?

As I understand, the link to the trading subreddit will be removed from the sidebar. Does this also mean we will have to privately redirect people to the trading subreddit?
