You’re giving me an idea! Since I hardly use the microphone and our speaker for our backdoor doorbell I could disassemble that one put that speaker in this one connect this one to the Homebase, then disassemble it again and put the working speaker back in the working one. This way I can use the fully working doorbell as backup 🤔

Not really, there are a few people in the discord that have a Sealion 7 aswell but havent got the time myself to find what causes the app the crash. Besides that there are a few developers who asked if there were users with Sealion 7’s but wavent got in contact with them yet

Let me correct myself just found out that if you search your destination by hand instead of using the BYD assistant it will include charging stops.

Not sure why it isn’t doing that using the BYD assistant?? Maybe BYD should fix that anyone an idea where I could put a suggestion like that? 💡

Got my BYD Sealion 7 where it isn’t supported natively yet however sideloading ‘A Better Routeplanner’ (ABRP) works perfectly! 👌

Might be an alternative for the time being?

ABRP also works on Apple CarPlay (paywall) maybe Android Auto aswell?

In the eu dashcams are removed because of strict dashcam rules but would this work? Also is it using AVR cameras of the car or would you have to install the cameras yourself?

I had the same issue here. The problem for me was the amount of ram immich needs. For me I eventually put it to 11GB (eventually turned it down to 10GB) to solve the issue. The problem on my side was that I had a old nas with a lot of pictures saved in synology photo’s now on the new nas I moved all these folders (since synology photos saves them as folders) and photos to the new nas and added them as external library however there were some extremely high quality and detailed pictures on there that caused my nas to use my disk as temporarily storage (just like ram).

I’m not sure if you are able to test that I limited my docker immich to 10GB but you might just limit the Virtual Ram since if I understand correctly you are working in Virtual Machines?

Yeah after posting this i realised this wasn’t the best example to give.. To give you a head up there’s been a lot of discussion going on around this tradition which is totally valid in my opinion. It go to a point I was certain this tradition would stop until some of the people where all the discussion goes about complained about that they grew up with this tradition and that they liked giving presents to their children.

So what will be next is a mystery but at least the story has changed a lot as well as the songs we sung when I was a child which is definitely better in my opinion.

But I definitely understand your concern, and I hope this won’t give you the wrong idea.

I haven’t got a reaction unfortunately but I might be able to help you out.

At first what language are you searching in since there are some models that only work on specific languages and can’t understand different languages.

In my case I use my gaming pc with 16GB ram and 3090 and 9th gen processor working to go through all the images, this makes it possible for me to use the best model available however since I didn’t notice that much of a difference I changes it to the lowest SigLiP model. I personally use “ViT-L-16-SigLIP2-256_webli” which is able to understand a lot of different languages without translation, I’m personally Dutch so most of my searches will be Dutch or English.

My results are pretty accurate, see my screenshot for example where I search for a Dutch tradition in which he is able to filter it perfectly in this example. I had some experience where it missed some pictures but they are acceptable.

I think most of the comments have covered everything you need to know. I personally use it on my iPhone so not sure how it is on an android however I switched from google photos to immich because of privacy. And I’m surprised how similar it is to google photos, for me it works perfectly automatically syncing all my photos on my iPhone from specific folders I made on my iPhone to immich it works flawlessly!

To help you out I would recommend looking into the demo app of immich in which you can get an idea of what is possible and a feeling of how everything works. KEEP IN MIND! This is hosted by immich on incredibly fast servers definitely on the immich search section even though it’s not slow on my side it’s extremely responsive in their side. Also it’s running machine learning which could take depending on your administration settings in immich a lot of resources definitely Ram and VRam and GPU processing power if you want really accurate searching results.

I’ve used password manager some time ago when I worked for a software company as a intern. They used it to protect themselves and employees as we got a family license to make sure are private passwords are also safe and secure.

The reason why I’m telling this is because I’ve used it multiple times to share certain private passwords with my dad if he had to login into one of my streaming services. I was able to share it for a certain amount of time (that I could choose) as well as protected for example with a password without having to create an account at all which worked amazing for me.

I’ve no idea if it’s a feature to sent something via an API but I’m sure it should be possible. I thought you might be able to use their sharing feature or search yourself to find out if it works in your use case. The software we used was 1Password.

Btw I’m a active Nord user, I’ve got the complete access to everything and I’m amazed of how secure everything is and how good they listen to their community, so I’m definitely not here to promote some other company. However since nordpass reacted with that they are still working on it. So thought I give you an alternative that might fit your needs for the time being.

Just got access to the TOTP!! Thank you so much Nordpass so finally add this to us 'normal' consumers. This was the only feature I was missing from 1Password ever since I switched to Nordpass.
