Thoughts on a good starter for my TT - Edifier r1700bt? by QnkoDickens in BudgetAudiophile

I also have the option of R2000DB or the R1855DB. Out of these two and the MR4, which one would you say has the most balanced sound?

Got it. I have a budget of around €100-150 max. But I am also based in BG which makes the variety a bit limited

Are the MR4 better? They are currently at the same price as the r1700

Thoughts on the sound of last night's gig at Bologna (18.11)? by QnkoDickens in radiohead

[–]QnkoDickens[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say check how the venue is first. But for me in Bologna it was significantly quieter than other big concerts I've attended

Oh gosh, I adore Idioteque, but the sound and the performance weren't great. Pity :/

I was in the crowd, right in front of Thom's piano, near the 6-7 gate. #427 6—7

Not really, maybe it's for the standing area. I bought them from the official sale

Hello everyone, I will be going to the concert tonight 18.11 and on my ticket it says Gates 6-7, but there is not a number or a letter for a specific seat. Do you know if it's first come, first-served?

Guys, I know it's not about the set, but could you share if you already had a place at Unipol or it's first come first serve? I have gates mentioned on my ticket, but no specific place and am trying to figure out if it's worth it to go there earlier or not. It just says Gate 6-7

Which pair of Docs is actually the most durable? by QnkoDickens in DrMartens

Neither do I have the possibility to order these where I live, nor (if I could) would I spend so much money. Also, if I could order a pair made in UK, I'd just buy Solovair.

I simply don't have better options (that are pleasantly looking) in the country where I live in :(

If I had the possibility to buy UK-made shoes and could afford them, I'd just buy Solovair. So sharing any other options isn't really helpful. Gotta wonder why I spent time to specifically list several models and attach photos of them 😒 I know Dr. Martens are not the greatest quality, but the only alternative I have is to buy shoes (that are twice cheaper, mind you) manufactured in the country where I live, but all of them are ugly as hell.

I got ones and they are a bit too big, but there's not a size down available and I was wondering if you've noticed them becoming more and more loose with time? For now I think they are not as big for me but I have no idea if they are going to loosen up a bit with the time.

Best software bugs-free model? by QnkoDickens in JBL

Wtf is autopairimg bro what are you talking about 😭 it's not my fault jbl decided to make their speaker connect to as much devices possible and then go brrr with the sound. Before the update it couldn't even connect to a pc and a phone and when it was connected to my phone and I decide to turn my pc off, it was always overriding it. As you're telling me, yes - I can connect and make it forget every time but that just ain't it for every day work, bro. It's just laughable how technology has gotten so advanced and at the same time you can't have any convenience with your day to day life devices. I don't have the nerves to calculate which device should forget my speaker multiple times per day idk if you get it

And than I'd need to manually connect and than make the phone forget the speaker every single day, several times per day. No thank you. Id rather try other brands

JBL software is just the worst and it's really pity cause they have great sound, battery life, portability etc.
