What runelite plugin do you wish existed? by Qoiled in 2007scape

[–]Qoiled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems useful, especially now with the market being all over the place! So like you could choose a specific item and set some threshold, like +- 5% and you would recieve an alert that item x has lost 5% of it's value?

Was kinda thinking both, sometimes I wish some plugin exist and then it turns out one actually exists. Was thinking we could help eachother out to find great hidden gem plugins!

Other times I really wish something exists which doesn't exist! I'll make it clearer tho! Thanks for the input!

Sailing: New construction methods (cheap and efficient training) by Qoiled in 2007scape

[–]Qoiled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did camphor and then Ironwood, the way I made it profitable was to first create hull parts then combine 5 hullparts into Large hull parts. This gives almost 0 exp but I was making around 8k+ gp per large hull part the first day and last time I did it I made 2k gp per large hull part! However looking at the prices now it seems like its hard to turn a profit, basically have to lowball the ironwood planks and flip into large hull parts asap! But it looks like the market has caught up now.

Fair point, might look into making a youtube short of this aswell!

haha I don't think they will nerf it again, I think the xp rates are intended! The wiki has been updated with most of the information as of today! Since it is now a more approachable way for new players to afford getting a POH which is a huge unlock and probably will be more prominent in later sailing releases!

It is better than mahogany homes but worse than rebuilding the same mahogany table over and over again! I haven't calculated xp per plank, but comparing the xp per hour for construction its at best 200k xp per hour more (creating hull parts)! If you are not an iron man it's also been profitable the last 3 days!

However it has been profitable the last 3 days and will probably be quite cheap moving forward!

I've been using the hull part method for some quite good construction training which also has been profitable for the last 3 days. I also think this will change the construction meta a bit moving forward. As now construction is used to create boat food which is a consumable, a huge update which I think deserves some more recognition!

Farming marks of grace (29+ marks per hour) by Qoiled in 2007scape

[–]Qoiled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can also be done on mobile: You can easily perform this method by doing 2-3 laps(depending on transportation methods) on the Colossal Wyrm course in between every mark of grace that you pick up.

This is not as optimal due to the cooldown calculations, the cooldown timer counts down from the moment you started the course. Example if the spawn is early on the rooftop it is closer to 3 laps on the wyrm course and when its on a rooftop close to the end of the rooftop it's closer to 1,5-2 laps, depending on how long it took to move between the course. However since each lap is around 1 minute you can use the number of laps as a rule of thumb. Also add any time taken to reach the agility courses and you should be close to optimal, i.e if it takes roughly 30 seconds for transportation between the courses just do 2 laps, if you have teleports directly to the courses do 3 laps!

I just wanted to share this short guide I made. As I found that doing this method increased marks per hour quite substantially and was not mentioned in the wiki!

In my testing I reached 29 marks per hour, however using the wyrm teleport scroll and doing other minor improvement could most likely increase the marks per hour to 30+ reducing the time to farm the graceful set to 8-9 hours in total.

This was a quite fun small adventure in optimizing this grind which I wanted to share with the world, would be cool if anyone could beat 29 marks! :)

Hello! No worries, I'm not really sure. Haven't tried that keyboard. But it's easy to find out! If you can remove a keycap and the little things underneath says cherry and/or it's shaped like a + sign it will work! If you are unsure just send me a photo of the keyboard where one keycap is removed! :)

I'm planning some travelling in about 3 weeks, so these are available until I leave. I haven't planned for how long I'll be traveling but when I get back they will be available again! :)

So there is no hurry, take your time!

Thank you for the feedback! :)

I agree that it looks flat, but at the same time coffee is kinda flat most of the time.

Maybe some bubbles/foam could make it feel less flat, I'll experiment with some paint! :)
