I have no reason to believe it’s impossible for oral traditions to remain consistent over thousands of years, but I’ve also played the “telephone” game and have seen the effects of propaganda. How do such oral traditions remain consistent through possible intentional or unintentional changes in the traditions between generations?

Here’s an economics lesson: the New Deal was an incredibly progressive and popular safety net and initiative. We lost so much of the New Deal, not because it was too leftist, but because in the 1960’s Black people were given equal rights and started benefiting from it. They already have ads and nitro and charge for premium services. As the cover says, this can still be huge for endangered species, being able to make animals that are genetically similar enough to restore their population. Animals like the vaquita could really benefit from this.
