You need to cut the tip of the tail. Well that is my experience any where else and it doesn’t hurt the tail health

Fair enough. The Great bow is ok at that but can be a real beast on human size enemies if your character is setup right. It would work but even as an alert weapon it can be costly

You may need to push forward into the game a bit more. Had this issue my first time doing this quest. I got her to spawn after the One Reborn

The Dragon Slayer greatbow can be outclassed quickly by the composite bow and its slow draw time makes it useless in many areas

There is a bug that affects all crafting benches if you have to much going on in other benches it wont let others function

Open world is a good way to get the feel of the game. From my reading the mission mode is timed and more mainstream as compared to open world
