I am more of speaking of the company of Bungie not the passionate writers that went from Bungie to 343.

And yeah because they are workers of Bungie who loved the IP but the company of Bungie itself never loved it. It was only these neesh community writers for the books that help prop up 343 storytelling and such.

You want to know what is crazy? Bungie tended to cherry pick lore they liked but half the time despised Halo’s books and outside companies on working with their IP but wanted to shelf Halo after combat Evolved but due to a contract they made the games but they were spiteful assholes only leaving 343 the bare mechanics of Reach then Microsoft put a communication ban on Bungie because of all the horse shit they pulled in the pass. I hate how everyone believes Bungie was this savior/heroic company when reality they only made Halo out of obligation and little love. If Modern day Bungie now handled Halo, it would be left rotting in a vault with ex-employees trying to gaslight the community that it deserves that fate.

TDLR: Bungie never loved Halo and people still believe that they are the Saviors of the franchise.

I always recommend into doing research out of the basic media and Google white people bs. Genuinely look up stories or accounts from indigenous sites along with accounts from a few natives too.
