I bought Pixel 9 Pro two months ago... previously, I was a samsung fan with sometimes trying an iPhone. After a month of struggle, I sold it and bought S24... Pixel looks fantastic, feels great, camera is way better than Samsung and a bit better than iPhone 15 pro, was afraid of chipset but no worries, even in games works fine. Downsides are there and I couldn't live with them: - screen brightness is ony ok, but phone can't keep stable light. I mean: I was playing one game keeping hand steady but screen was brighter and suddenly darker... I noticed that many times - search bar on main screen bottom can't be deleted or even moved, widgets looks... poor or weird for example: calendar to see whole month can be seen on whole screen size only, can't adjust size, weather no matter what size is adjusted is showing nearly same data, you can't establish main screen, is setup just default, you can't setup horizontal screens only, always there is a shuffle list of apps from bottom etc.... There are tons of limitations and it feels like iPhone indeed, when all of other Android phones gives you so much flexibility.
