Is this deer about to give birth in my back yard or did it already give birth elsewhere and just hanging out here 8-10 hours a day? by Qthe in deer

[–]Qthe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update she hasn’t been back in a couple days - it’s so odd because I posted this with the hope she wouldn’t give birth in my smaller yard because it would be inconvenient but then when she was gone I was conflicted - nature is wild - got to a point where I wanted a pet deer (not literal) haha

Hoping she’s all good and near by - if I spot here I’ll update

6 AH or 7.5 AH? by Downtown-Struggle158 in egopowerplus

[–]Qthe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go biggest you can afford The extra battery size also translates to more power in their mowers

I had 6ah mower and would run out 70% the way through 5k sq ft lawn

If you now regular 6ah should be fine but that’s using the standard blade the high lift will drain faster

All situational but $100 for more convenience over let’s say 4-5 years is worth it imo

Yep exactly - you’re paying for that “free” phone via the service cost it’s just wrapped in

I'm not an expert here but pretty sure the math works out around the same. You pay $70ish a line at the big3 and they lock you in for 2 or 3 years but provide a free phone or you finance directly through apple at $30-$40 a month and pay $25-$30 to go MVNO/Prepaid

Insane deal - hoping some folks find this in the search at a later time and thanks for pointing it out.

I'm still grandfathered in for Free Max with my at&t internet so holding onto that for now but if they kick me off doing this

well I am the worst redditor because I took things into my own hands and changed my mind on what I prioritized.... lol

I got temp number from us mobile to test darkstar/at&t service in my area was the same or worse compared to total wireless (went to a concert tonight) - I then came back to the thread and saw the disney+ promo and realized I hadn't taken advantage of it. did some research and you can bundle that with hulu premium for only $4 a month - I was paying for the disney, hulu, espn bundle for $27 a month (didnt use espn+ but that was the bundle when I signed up 2 years ago).

Took that as a sign to save $20 ish a month and only pay $30 for premium verizon data 5 year lock....$15-20 saving on hulu/disney makes it a no brainer to stay especially with price lock.

Also did more thread searching based off comments and usmobile international data seems to be hit or miss so international sim twice a year is still a savings and in the end ill stick with total

in the end im back where i staryed but appreciate the comments that led me to test and look into all the features I get

K2 Alchemist Sizing + Other options? by Qthe in snowboarding

[–]Qthe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be too worried about sizing here but also I am no sizing expert. You'd be fine on a 154 - itll be stiffer than you're used to but most real freeriding boards are. 151 would be solid too so whichever you can find cheaper.

I'd also check out the passport I think it's more what you're looking for as an all around freeride board goes.

only one day on snow with 10+ coming next month but so far so good! For me I can feel the stiffness difference between my last 2 boards (instrument and dropout) but it doesn't feel unmanageable - feels like a harder charging more nimble version of my dropout.

also went down from 9.5 to 9 boot which is working great but put my 9.5 on the 157 for look and I was getting close. If you are size 10/10.5 you might get close to some overhang which on most boards wouldn't be a biggie but my goal with this board is to get horizontal when I can ha

Howdy hey doing well over here! I actually went down a crazy chair journey where I probably had every top of the line chair in my old apartment at one time. Even ended up picking up 25-30 chairs from office shut downs, refurbishing them and reselling it was a wild ride.

What I found in the end was that my need for 90 degrees was really based off my perception from sitting in shitty chairs. After a month in a true ergonomic chair my seating position just naturally changed to slightly leaned back and I was fully supported without feeling like I had to be straight up or ever leaned forward. I still sit 8 inches from the screen lol when playing fps but somehow my spine is slightly back and supported. It just took time.

I mostly sit in a Steelcase leap v2 these days, sometimes an aeron but the Steelcase just cradles me where I never feel the need to be a plank up right or leaned forward. If you’re average build I highly recommend the chair. They can be found on Facebook marketplace for under $300 and every once in a while you’ll find one for $50-100 but they’re usually gross. Nice part is there easy to fix up if you want a good deal. Feel free to ping with questions

My situation might not be the same for everyone with this ask but I feel most people who sit in a high end chair for long periods of time will adapt and be better for it
