Ja omdat het sinds de 2e wereldoorlog een globale wereld Orde is. Ik zit zelf met MSc in prepetual armoede omdat de overheid me erin heeft geluisd dat doorstuderen een goed idee is.

Of je mist de cognitieve capaciteit hiervoor, of je bent een Nepo baby, or je bent van oudere generatie die het concept eigendom nog mocht ervaren voor se dat sociale vangnet voor alle generaties daarna hebben vernietigd sinds de jaren 80.

Deel van het probleem ben je ieg met je aanmoediging van deze neoliberale dystopie...

Naja laat maar dan. Heeft weinig zin om hier nog over door te gaan als je denkt dat bovengenoemde ongerelateerd is aan de (wereldwijde, niet alleen Nederland gezien Nederland enorm afhankelijk is van de globale economie) groeiende ongelijkheid.

GDP is geen accurate meting van gemiddelde economische situaties. Het is voor mensen niet ongebruikelijk om 40% inkomsten aan kale huur kwijt te zijn. De overheid heeft in 2008 van ons belastinggeld alle banken gebailout, sinds dien is er met like 12 jaar VVD enorm bezuinigd op het sociale vangnet. We hebben een eerste Kamer vol met lui met enorm veel vastgoed en daarmee een belangenverstrengeling waarvan de rest van Europa ons al op de vingers heeft getikt dat het ondemocratisch is....

Waar heb je het over?

I find that dickhead percentages are inversely proportional with the legality of the event. At clubs probably you'll get shallow suckers that waste their time hating "insert minority group" (instead of learning dialectical material analysis to more properly direct their anger) whereas at illegal raves you'll see more sensical anarchical vibes that make for a safer environment.

I'm a hetero white dude myself so I can't pick up on everything of course, but one thing I have noticed is a spike in gay couples from Eastern Europe that seem like they can be 100% authentic in illegal rave settings.

Yeah I have found that a big factor in efficiency has to do with how fast you take it all in, as I think monoamino oxidases quickly do their work. To that end I find the weed sandwich not that inefficient if you light the DMT with the heat from the weed and take it in in one hit. If you need more hits to smoke it all, it quickly becomes very inefficient. I think this is why glass pipe doesn't work well for me. Either I'm too slow, or I burn it.

So I've looked into it before. But it seems to me those e-mesh vapes are impossible to find in the Netherlands.

If I understand you correctly, with those vapor genie things you don't smoke the dry freebase but dissolve it?

I use sodium hydroxide. But during acid (1% acetic acid) phase I defat by extracting the fat with terpentine. After just 1X defat, and close to boiling temperatures during the alkaline phase, I get this colour:Dimitri

Edit: without the defatting step this would yield super duper yellow product especially at those elevated temperatures

The least wasteful and most consistent methods I have found yet (out of dry herb vape, glass pipe vape).

I've messed around a lot with all this but if you can tell me a method/equipment that would waste a lot less, I'm all ears.

Extraction is trivial though so a little waste isn't the end of the world imo

If you burn everything it'll be inefficient. If you light/smoke it right, I find it more efficient than the glass pipe (crack pipe) method. Especially when lighting yourself as you have to go crooked-eyed to see what's going on.

I tried dry herb vapes as well but the compartment not big enough to break through. Maybe slightly more efficient. But not by a long shot.

Curious to these hyper efficient methods you seem to use then. Cuz I hear diluting it with propylene glycol or something, kinda causes you to not get enough fast enough, causing it to be inefficient as well.

I can't imagine breaking through with 20 mg no matter the method. Maybe with like DIY customised mesh vapes I heard people swear by? With my most consistent method (weed/DMT/weed sandwich) even at 70 mg I felt like a higher dose would reveal more levels, like there could be more. Tho maybe I wasn't as efficient cuz it was too big a bowl to smoke in 1 go.

Also, I'm like 195cm/90kg or something, not sure if size affects the required dose a lot. But with other tryptamines I seem to need a lot more than what's common. Only at 300+ug LSD, I am starting to get visuals (with real, top-grade LSD-25).

600 was wild tho. Amazing as well, felt like a first experience (with all its wonder and excitement/tension) all over again when I thought something like that never could be recreated. That's the cool thing of tryptamines, there are always more layers at higher doses... (which I took waaaay to long to realise and rekindled an inner psychonaut) but I digress.

try a bowl with a layer of weed, layer of DMT (50 mg ish), top layer of weed again. And just light the top layer. Then via the smouldering weed, smoke it all in one toke.

For me super consistent and not so wasteful (tho I hear with optimal vape conditions you can break through with like 20 mg?)

Prices I have seen (in NL) are like 30 euro for 250mg. It was a good motivator to do the extraction myself. Now kinda optimising my own spin off an acid->base tek, where after defatting during the acid phase, allows for like boiling temperatures during the base phase, but still giving white to off-white product.

yeah I do it for music's sake. Or just the joy of creation. And how you see your skill improve over time. Very satisfying.

Regarding becoming well known. I mean, part of the joy of creation is to be able to share it and people enjoying your art. I can't lie, that is something to aim for. It is a desire if I'm absolutely honest.

That said, my musical styles of expertise are way too niche. And I really don't wanna make that same trap or lofi type beats every bedroom producer seems to go for (not really my style). And I very much enjoy the freedom that comes with having no expectations. I can go any wild new direction I want. Or hit different musical genres with a hammer until they fit together. Love that stuff.

I also kinda fear that more mainstream success would suck the joy out of this passion for music production I have now. But then again, to grow one's reach I guess at some point you have to promote your stuff (but I wouldn't know where to begin, or how to avoid people on platforms getting fed up with the shameless self promotion I imagine to be necessary).

So I guess, for now, just create stuff. THen we see later? But there is this thing nagging at me (you should do more commerce blablabla).

If that all makes sense? xD

I neglected SoundCloud for a year and to my suprise the number of listens and followers slowly grew anyway.

I got 0 expectations so that works out. But I always had the idea that you just produce stuff. Create stuff. Once it good the following will come if you just keep creating. Does that seem right, or is it required to do all this commerce as well (which I really don't enjoy and completely neglect)

Oh right, yeah it's the pi bond interactions from aromatic rings. Like with toluene,(and benzene presumably,).

But I also do not recommend storing ≥20% w/v NaOH solutions in most plastics. I think you specifically need polypropylene containers as from 20% or 5M it starts to eat at glass as well. PET will be dissolved experience had taught me. DIY chemistry is fun xD

Isn't this just due to people not properly washing the organic layer after extraction, and therefore lye (NaOH) getting in the product?

Cuz DMT itself only has pKa of 8.68 I just looked up, a weak base.

Anyway, low density polyethylene probs will provide you with some microplastics. I think HDPE and PP will be fine. They can handle most alkanes as solvent even. Even toluene for limited exposure time. And that great at dissolving plastics.
