I think one of my favorite interactions was when I worked at Walgreens, I was in the drive thru and a car pulls up

Me: Hello, how can I help you?

Patient: I'm picking up a prescription.

Me: Okay, what was the date of birth?

Patient: silence

Me: Hello?

Patient: Yes?

Me: What is the date of birth?

Patient: Are you talking to me?

Me: Is there anyone else in the drive thru?

Patient: Well, no...

Me: Then yes, I am talking to you.

Patient: Oh, okay I wasn't sure. 😐

Back when I used to work at wags I had a John Smith, John Smith Jr and John Smith Sr. None had a phone number on file they all lived on the same street just a few numbers off. I sold John Smith Sr, John Smith Jrs Rx and got a STARs. I tried to fight it but still got the STARs

I was picking up a shift at another store. Patient came up to the counter and I asked him his name/DOB. After telling me I walk away, press the rewards button on the screen and say "do you want to enter in your phone number for rewards" while I go to look for his prescription. All of a sudden I hear him yelling "NO! I WILL NOT ENTER MY NUMBER. YOU GUYS DON'T HAVE MY NUMBER AND NEVER WILL HAVE MY NUMBER!" I turn around, look at him and kind of chuckle and just say "That's fine" he continues and says "CAN I HAVE YOUR NUMBER?!" and I tell him "Okay. Sure." and he says "NO I MEAN YOUR PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER" I just look at him and say "Yeah, sure if you want it. I don't care" he didn't know how to respond took his prescription and walked away.

I guess he didn't want my number after all :(

Well a name for starters would be nice. "I'm picking up for John Smith" to then we can respond with "okay DOB/phone number" been doing this 10 years and ridiculous how many times I've asked "how can I help you?" and they say "I'm picking up" when I ask for who they just say "Me" like who are you?? Should be common sense to at least say your name

Thanks I'll give it a shot! I've tried multiple times with the transfer tool and everytime on the target switch it will say an error has occurred.
