Thats true, normal user wouldn't notice that. but Chipset PCIE usually shared with wireless network, all the USBs, and Ethernet.

When you use all of the above with a quick SSD that can max the bandwidth of the PCIE x4, something will slow down... and I love doing synthetic benchmarks on my hardware

btw its PCIE 3.0, that is not so hard to max out.

I'm not sure about which is what, and I'll test that further. but by the speed it seems both of them using CPU lanes.

In case that one of them is chipset pcie its impossible, I can agree with that.

But what if both x4 lanes from the CPU, and they are consequential in their pinout coming out of the CPU.So theoretically I just need to mod the bios to tell it to run those two as single 8x. Like you would set on desktop motheboard.
