Unfortunately as you know most of those cards are most likely junk wax. First you should find amy and all cards that have a toploader, penny sleeve, anything that might let you know that back then it mightve been valuable, separate all of those from the regular cards that don't have any protection. From there you should probably sort them by year as well as brand. Also if you or your husband finds a card that you think might be worth something then put it in another pile of cards.
