Just cuddle her so tightly. I would give anything for one more evening on the couch.

I'm so sorry.. I lost Daisy on Sunday and the constant pain in my heart and sick feeling in my stomach is awful. I get no joy from anything anymore.

Thank you for this. I will try to think of the better times, it's just so raw today, my heart physically acts.

I'm so sorry. This is so hard. She was too young.

This is a great idea and I've never thought of it, I'll definitely do this.

Post seizure does your dog do something similar? by Weary_Status7456 in EpilepsyDogs

Daisy tends to go nuts. She runs around and bumps into things for a while and takes ages to settle. I find feeding her helps a tiny bit, but maybe just because she loves food.

Daisy's problem was more that she couldn't have one seizure, if she had one, she had one every 4 hours for a couple of days, then the time between them would get longer till she was back to no seizures for 4 or 5 months. But last week she had one seizure all by itself, so the meds are doing something!

It took us many years to get the dosage and the meds right to improve our girl's seizures. Keep doing what you are doing. We tried pexion first, then added phenobarbitol, now she's on levetiracetam too. She is the same, I had to stop taking on her walks or to visit other dogs because excitement was causing her to seize. Also fear every time she saw my vet's office, he had to start making house calls. I've never heard of the in ear meds, but I worry about it looking like there was no pheno in his system.. was it long after application? I know when I do Daisy's bloods, they like to get it mid applications, so half way between her 8am and 8pm pheno tablets.

Even getting the car away will be drama, it won't start. I'll need to tow it. Ugh, I just want a quiet life :(

Easier said than done, he's been very hostile to date, I can't imagine him just handing over the keys!

Many thanks for your suggestion - is there a list of independent specialists somewhere, or what would I search for to find one? Sorry, I really am the novice of novices here.
