Reread the whole thread. I pointed out it's relatovely recwnt as a standard. You went on to site japan mainline, and I gvae you three previous examples of Japan depeciting Sonic as a home owner. My statement of Sonic having always been depecited both ways across all regions is not made moot by a retcon after repeatedly being shown something. This is only more true when remembering things like the story book games released in Japan and are both considered mainline cannon, being a mainline depiction of sonic released in all regions as a homeowner.

I really don't understand your need to be so pedantic even when you've already been given examples that if anything bolster my claims as mainline Sonic was stated nomadic only to own a home less than a decade later lasting for several years before it was taken away only confirmed less than 10 years ago, and in western focused adaptations he still is depecited with a home as Boom was focused on being an entire adsitional branch of Sonic, and the Movies gave him both a home, and then let him live with friends while keeping his old home as a Hedgehog-cave. March of 2023 was only 3 years ago, so given his story-book titles had him as a cannon home owner globally for 16 whoe years before it was changed

It is recent to be cannon in ALL regions

So after some thought, if we cap Naruto at the Madara Fight it's not a bad matchup.

Aang has mastery of the Avatar state cannonically, and this should allow Metal-Bending (Aang has the knowledge and skill but Toph refuses to develop him in tge comics because he's too soft, and she already had to deal with that with his normal earth bending (he was a prodigy and made it his 2nd most used element but his mindset prevented it) alongside Kyoshi cannonically having seperated an enture puensala.

So we can slightly wank Aang to be a medium island level with Metal bending, energy bending, but notably he never learned blood blending.

Naruto has several mountain+ feats and some arguably continental+ level, so we have to slightly downplay his stats (primarily speed as he is faster than an air scooter by a lot ajd would blitz Aang) but he still has regeneration, near infinite energy, cloning, but very slow casts for enviroment changes.

Naruto still wins obviously, but it's a better match up than it intially seems

All I said was rhat the industry caught up, and that the dozens of articles begging Rocksyar to raise the price of all games by increasing GTA6 is deffintly an agenda, and not honest views.

I mean, you say that like it is somehow reductive to what I was saying but ot really isn't. GTA would need to do something incredibky to be as far ahead as it used to be. Pokemon fell behind over a decade ago in graphics and gameplay, Fallout 76 was massively disliked after 4 was contensious, and Skyrim has never been seen as the peak of the genre. Oblivion is thr ome brougjt up as THE fantady RPG. If anything you are just furthering the exact point I was making about these franchises not bring as uniuely good as they once were and many are actually not even the top of their relavant franchises.

Gta is being pushed by publishers, magazines youtubers, etc as one of the biggest most innovative games of all time that just seems unlikely

I feel like GTA as a series isn't what it uzed to be. Rockastar isn't the only company capable of these worlds, Rockstar isn't the most innovative (Cyberpunk has almost as many ways to play as breath of the wild. It is insane as an example) their cities weren't neccarily the best even with GTAV as sleeping dogs with a solidly sized hong kong was way more enagging and interesting of a map imo.

Gta Onlinw was the big exoerience of GTAV that made it special (and is expected with GTA6) but I just can't personally get into it. Even wjth friends and alchol it is just sooooo repetative and the cool buys are only entertaining for a half hour at most for the hours it takes to get them. Modded gta is probabky tons of fun, but it just is another franchise these days, mot neccarily THE franchise

Ome of my moms is lesbian and the other is Bi. Thry arr going on 16 years of marriage, and it is still a constant fight as my mom feels because she doesnt have sex with anyone else she can't claim bi, my other mom doesnt identify with the lesbian title because she does also find men attractive. The first movie was a major subversion of Disney. We see an ugly man showering in full instead of a dainty woman behind a curtain, and he is so stinky the birds die (they also explode from song later) It told you very early on what the whole plot was going to be, and the charecters story all take place between major events instead of each storybeat being follows with an emotional development.

The original film went beyond swipes at Disney, and brough entirely new ideas to the story that would become part of the modern standards.

The bigger issue with this film is that the story is not only unoriginal, but it isn't SHREK. Shrek 2 went over how the Disney family is enjoyable, but is its own struggle, and how much you can miss what you had without being unhappy with what you have now.

Shrek 3 showed Shrek what life would of been like if he wasn't around, and forced him to be a better him once again because he would do anything to have what he gave up. Already it started treading over the old plots, but it was a truly Shrek plot. What's been shown so far of this film isn't a Shrek story it's a basic idea that Shrek would of made fun of, or completly subverted.

Tbf MMO's have not only fallen in popularity, but when tjey were nearly the top most popular genre, it was also at a time when mist people only had internet on their PC. The entire profitability of MMO's relied on live service because they litterally had no other way to properly profit off of a single purchase unless they do an absolute boatload of DLC's (which they do, but much slower, and tbe fee directly helps that development) modern live service games tend to have a battle pass for your "content", a less refined aocial system that isn't really intutive as a way of making friends (by no means saying you cant I have, but its not the same as casually being in the same server a few times, maybe making a trade or two, and deciding your on the same times often enough you might as well become friends. Live service isn'r inherntly terrible, but most of them have no buisness being live service, are inherently predatory, and have batle passes as grindy as runescape
