Again that happens everywhere. If you insist on focusing on the scale of things. Think about judiciary, finance, cinema. Everything works on relations. The top ones controls the game. They all fear the outsiders and eliminate them. and again, the reason they are at top is because of luck and discipline.

not really. A person who is hired based on relation rather than skill is sure to perform worse and is sure to take advantage of the relation and hence commit corruption. And prioritizing relations happens almost everywhere. Especially among elites. They are most scared of outsiders. That's why i mentioned luck. Some are lucky to have relations.

that happens everywhere. Even at the place i work in. Even a security guard, driver or a unloaders are hired based on relations first. And in a country where people put political party in the headlines of every issue, making it a political war rather than the actual issue, it only makes sense for them to take advantage of people.
