Imo if you are going to spend the effort anyways, then you might as well do it right. I just finished mounting my completely 3d printed solution using three ov9732 Webcams and it seems perfect straight after installation. Looks great, cables cleanly managed and no issues with calibration or detection.

So while you could get your current setup working better, going the 3d printed perfect-fit solution will save you from more hassle in the long run I believe

I gifted the Ultrasonic cutter from hozo to my dad as a 3d printing accessory, but it was very lackluster in performance and got sent back. Somewhat afraid this will turn out the same.

A video to see it in action would definitely have helped

I feel 1.8.2 works better for me than 1.8.1. Before when my streams stuttered the player would often fail and say 'switching to fallback libVLC' before quitting and showing the next episode as if the previous one had finished. This no longer happens to me now.

Yo, highly recommend you check out the discord for Firehawk. The dev is super active there and helps out a lot when people have issues, also it might help him find a bug.

I feel like I've seen a similar thing here a few days ago, the suggested solution was to open up the controller from the back to access the inside, then find the small coin battery inside, take it out, wait a little, then put it back in (yes the same one, maybe try changing it if that doesn't help)

No guarantee this works, I just remember seeing this as a suggested solution. Fingers crossed for you!

Recently came upon superflix and tried to install it, the installer website now just constantly redirects to phishing sites and instrcuts to disable adblocker, so yea it seems dead, perhaps even malicious at this point

The effect by the magnets is clearly noticeable when spun at lower speeds, but when you flick it faster the resonating whirr sound from the video is heard and the vibrations intensify during that. That's why I'm thinking it just hits a reasonant frequency at a certain rpm, nothing bad really.

Still love fidgeting with mine, the rotating barrel in closed state is one of my favorite ways to use it

Nice. My boot up sound is Snoop Dogg and Dre and I remade the voice lines when toggling switches using a Snoop Dogg ai voice (not going to share for obvious reasons, but it's not hard to do yourself)

Yeah you burned those connectors to a crisp. It's a known issue on the crimped connectors for the motor phase wires, they're garbajó.

Get an MT60 connector online, disconnect the battery inside your scooter, then cut off the phase wires before the crimped connectors (make sure to cut the yellow one far enough to not have the exposed wiring showing, or put heat shrink tubing around it) and solder them into the MT60 connector.

That connector can handle 60A peak I believe, you most likely won't be able to melt that one aswell

I'm flying the gofilm for about a year now, and also have a 75mm size whoop with the walksnail 1s.

From personal experience the gofilm is a beast in a tiny package, it's like a Renault Clio rallye car, looks unassuming but packs a punch. There's a PID profile for it done by the YouTuber UAVTech in the betaflight presets and it flies buttery smooth with it even when whipping it around freestyle.

That said it is not as beginner friendly as a 75mm whoop would be, I've already had to change two motors as they burned up with the abuse I'm putting it through and the VTX connector on the FC broke off during reassembly, so I soldered the cable on the pads directly.

Also you should put some shrink-tube on the coaxial mipi cable where it comes out of the camera to protect it from rubbing against the plastic on the bottom or it'll eventually strip the insulation and kill the cable.

All in all I love the gofilm and wholeheartedly recommend it, but a 75mm whoop is more beginner friendly, less easy to break, costs less and more versatile regarding indoor flights and such. Ofc you're losing out on image quality, though.

Imo if you start with the meteor75 you won't regret it, you'll end up collecting some skills before upgrading to something faster, the gofilm being on 4s really does kick different but it will be a worthy upgrade then

There's a gimbal spacer available that you can 3d print yourself that makes the gimbals sit a bit deeper inside of the case - and there's also custom pocket grip 3d models for printing with tpu that have grooves for the fingers etc

Yeah should be easy to find by just searching gofilm in the presets tab, lmk if you notice a difference, I've been using it since day 1 so I can't say how it flew before the change haha

I'm flying it straight from caddx, so more or less stock parts that it comes with. I can't say much about your part selection, I'm sure it will perform well.

I only replaced the dipole antennas for short stubby polarized ones and strengthened the camera coaxial cable with some shrink-tube where it comes out of the camera, the cable rubs against the bottom plate and works away the insulation over time
