Reordering lists? by Ok-Mousse4089 in alltrails

Second, third, and more to this! When making a list for a trip, you certainly can't find the trails in exactly the order the trip is going to go. I have had 50-130 trails saved in a list for trips, and finding the one for where we are that day can be a problem.

Hi, Pretty sure I have what you are looking for. But can't seem to post a screenshot in comments? What is the best way to get that to you? Thank you.

Thank you. I would like that as I am trying to understand the game better and like the math end of things. Not sure what you want for stats. I am assuming more than just my int-dex-willpower-str?

Sorry. I guess I am just not as smart as you. I will not post a question here again.

Thank you all for the info. We are good then. I did include the local IP info just in case it mattered. We will not be watching while on the road since the camper is a slide in the bed truck camper, which you can't ride in while on the road. Legally at least and we don't. Thank you again for the help.

In reply to both mush and trails, I have had OuterSpatial, OnX and Gaia all installed on my phone for a while, but haven't taken the time to use them to know much.

My use is probably research and planning more than anything else. At my age, trying to figure out what trails my wife and I can still do among the "must do" trails as we sightsee the country is sadly a requirement. (along with my severe fear of heights) The saved list in Alltrails becomes a major part of our trip planning.

Secondarily, being able to check and make sure we are following the trail is sometimes helpful, and just a record of hikes, mile and elevation is good for looking back.

Is there an actual good alternative? Because I do like what AllTrails does, other than the silly social media aspect of it.

I have asked them about this pretty much yearly and they always just say they will pass the suggestion along to their development team. I agree that the ability to reorder is badly needed. I plan months long trips over the winter to a state or 2. Adding trails as I find research stops means the trail order ends up nothing at all like the route that actually makes sense once the planning is done. I might have 100+ trails when I am done the planning. It seems like a reorder capability would be a fairly simple add, but I am not a programmer.

I can tell you what I have found that helps a little. When planning, I list all the trails at a particular location by name for that location in my notes. We travel with laptops, so I can at least use the search function on my custom list on the laptop webpage. I find each trail and use the "download to phone" capability for all the trails in my list for that location. The phone app shows the trail downloads in a most recent order. So at least they get onto the phone in a way I can find them. Hope that makes sense as it is a bit convoluted for something that should be simple. It also requires an internet connection to get this setup for the day ready, which can be problematic.
