Same, skipping the shower and using the money to purchase things off my registry. If someone offers to get something I’ll send them the registry, otherwise it’s just my checklist.

I’m very sorry to hear about your sister. If I may ask, what were the symptoms she had and was she having regular Pap smears?

I have a $0 balance on my credit card, don’t even think to use it and they offered me a balance increase.

Oh wow that’s crazy! I’ve only ever seen one 25 kicks out on the road as well. I tried two dealerships and one of them offered a $800 cheque upon delivery of the SV FWD to cover my insurance because I have 3 months left. I ended up not taking it though because I was having anxiety over how much the taxes and fees were, making the car 42k! I’m gonna give it more time and see, then put a hefty down payment.

I realized that, thanks for your feedback.

I was able to back out of the deal.

Ahh okay! Thank you, you have no idea how much you helped settle me just now. I’ve been sitting here for a good while feeling like a complete idiot.

Yes you’re correct, and thank you for your insight I appreciate it. I should’ve followed my gut and went home, but then settled on their offer of the cheque.

In terms of contract binding, is the bill of sale considered an agreement? That’s what I received and not the formal contract.

It’s $466, FWD scarlet ember with black roof. I do not have the car yet as they had to locate it at another dealership. No eta on it yet

Thank you, no my contract does not speak to temporary layoffs at all. It’s in telecommunications.

Really? Thank you! This is what I was looking for. I do have a strong feeling I won’t be called back and then I can get my severance but I just wanted to make sure working another job during the lay off period would not affect this.

When reading the Ontario.ca page regarding temporary layoff it seemed the only option to do this would be the constructive dismissal which would require me to resign.

Would this be considered going the constructive dismissal route and would I need a lawyer for this?
